Hyatt Place Lake Mary/Orlando North

The room was very nice. Staff were great. I especially appreciated their help in getting transportation to the airport at 5:00AM when my Lyft driver bailed without warning. Breakfast was good.

I would have liked the airport shuttle service to begin earlier in the day. So many flights out leave early in the morning and the requirement to be there 2 hours ahead of time means guests need transportation to the airport early. I would have been willing to pay extra for the service. My room didn't get cleaned one day that I was there. That would have been ok had I known before hand.

there were some odd people in the parking lot when we arrived that could have possibly been drunk or high, I’m not sure but I don’t blame the hotel for this. Later that night there was a group of three people just sitting in front of the lobby (in plain sight) just breaking apart weed and smoking it. there were children in the hotel. I’m not against it but there are kids. do it in your car or somewhere else.

Our room keys did not work. Every single day, a few times a day, we had to reset our key, and there was 3 of us, constantly having to go up and down to have them reset our key, We saw others too with the same problem. They replaced the reader at our door and still same problem. Plus very rude Overnight desk person. She Accused my son of not having a room there when he went to have her reset his key. I booked a room for 3, And charged for 3. A little embarrassing for us. THAT WOMEN WAS RUDE. SHE was our only problem.

I booked for a two night stay because we were attending a family funeral, unfortunately due a thirteen hour flight delay we were not able to use our room for the first night, I call the hotel and explained what happened, I was told to call manager on Monday morning and discuss this with him I called multiple time and can not reach him, it’s always goes to voicemail Please contact me at (516) 410-3139

Very clean, good location. No problems with the hotel.

Breakfast could be better but it's not bad. Pretty much had to straddle the toilet to close the bathroom door. It's a little tight. Neighbors were rowdy for a few hours. We did not contact the front desk though so that may have cleared up sooner if we had. We've stayed here before with no problems at all.

It was clean but dusty. They did bring another refrigerator because mine was not working. They brought me a microwave when asked. My tub wouldn’t drain the first day there and they had it fixed immediately. Staff were nice.

I asked them to bring me clean towels and I had to find housekeeping to get my own towels. I asked front desk to have housekeeping change linens and dust room, it was never done. I had two flower deliveries and when I asked if they could bring them to my room, I was told I needed to come get them. I asked them for water and was told they were in the lobby for sale. I felt like I couldn’t get the front desk to be helpful to my needs with little things. Breakfast didn’t have much selections on most days. It was usually cereal or bagels. I think there was only one day they had hot food.

A great hotel in a nice location with a large comfortable room, friendly staff, and a full breakfast. Starbucks coffee for purchase at the counter! The outdoor pool was small but clean and the right temperature for swimming in. The fitness room was clean and well maintained, and there was a coin operated laundry (I had to ask directions because it was difficult to find, but they gave me free laundry soap). Convenient location to shopping, restaurants, and the places we were visiting.

I know their housekeeping was understaffed (as everyone is these days it seems) but we stayed 3 nights and I asked the desk on multiple occassions for someone to come in and tend to our dirty towels and change the sheets. That never happened, although my son was able to talk the desk staff out of some extra towels. We stayed Thursday through Sunday, and it seems that Sunday morning was the only day they really had much housekeeping staff. If you're not traveling with kids or only staying a night or two, you probably won't have an issue.

I’m blown away by this hotel, especially for the price. The rooms are very spacious, and the layout is excellent. We had a king bed with a pullout sofa, and there was a room divider that gave my husband and I some privacy from our kids. There was tons of room for storage, and the beds were really comfortable. The air conditioner blew ice cold. The staff was all very friendly and the continental breakfast was excellent. Lots of food options- both hot and cold. If I’m ever in the area, I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend.

I really don’t have any complaints about our stay. I guess if I had to get nit picky, I would say the showers could be bigger, but really they were quite nice. The water got super hot! Maybe almost too hot? Again, I have no complaints and I was very happy with my stay.

amazing location, perfect distance from everything in the Lake Mary area. the room was clean and spacious, with one of the comfiest beds in any hotel i’ve stayed at.

the key cards didn’t work one night, but it was quickly resolved by heading to the front desk (though notified you could use the phone if the issue occurred again). more of an inconvenience than anything.

This hotel was great. The beds were comfy. The rooms were very spacious and clean. I was very impressed with the hot breakfast. There was plenty of option for everyone. Traveling with kids and a gluten allergy is hard with the usual hotel continental options. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We would return and stay here again.
