Comfort Inn & Suites Daytona Beach Oceanfront

Clean, large room, beautiful view of the beach, excellent location 5 minute drive to downtown with nice shops and restaurants.

When we got home we checked our hotel bill and we’re surprised that we were charged 17.99 for on-site parking. We checked our Booking.com reservation and it said that the amenities included were breakfast and onsite parking. We called the hotel and told the desk clerk about this and she said it was the fault of Booking.com and we should advise them. When I told her that this was the hotels error, she said that other guests complained about this and they told Booking.com, but they never did correct it. When I said I would write a critical evaluation of this she said the hotel manager would call me and work something out to my satisfaction The hotel manager Never contacted me. I am very disappointed in the misrepresentation of this hotels actual costs. I feel cheated.

I actually checked in next door and the place was horrible and I was explaining the experience to my sister that had checked in to the comfort in as I was in the lobby getting a room to get away from the roaches next door! The lady at the desk let me complain to her and she was very engaging and said “I don’t know you but, I’m super happy that you got away from there and came here” she was freaking awesome! My brother in law went fishing and my sister and I went to the grocery store, upon returning in my Corolla there was no parking that was going to fit my brother in laws full size truck! The security guard was standing there telling everyone where to park and when asked if there was any parking for him the security guard took two cones and held a spot for him! The staff at this place will make me come back every time! The room was cold and super clean with stand up showers! 😍 Even checking out on the next shift the assistant general manager was at the desk checking people out and he was amazing as well! Even when I seen his interaction with someone that wasn’t happy he stayed calm collected and took care of the situation! He never once spoke Ill of the customer and didn’t let it change his attitude towards the other people trying to check out when I know it was super busy and stressful! Thank you for taking our reservation last minute and being awesome!

Bigger parking lot!

Great location right on the beach. Friendly staff. Room size was good and having a balcony was an added bonus. Good value for money. Reception staff were extremely friendly

The direct access to the beach from the pool is being renovated which is a pity as you need to walk around the hotel to get to the beach. The breakfast was ok but way too much plastic. Plates, cutlery were all throw away items. Why not helü save the environment and implement re-usable items (a small dish washer to wash and re-use plates, knives, forks would be a good start)

Right on the beach and very clean!

The parking is terrible and the air conditioning is automatic (was a problem at night).

The amenities, loved everything is walking distance. The environment was amazing. Room was comfortable.

When I checked in the guy that was at the counter was not very friendly by far. Non conversational. NO customer service at all basically drivers license credit card here's your keys and pool towels are over there. No enjoy your stay anything you need let us know. No directions on anything. Everyone else was exceptional, outstanding and very professional. That guy needs to be retrained.

Beds and pillows were very comfy. Great location. Front staff were very friendly. Very clean!

The breakfast was terrible! They had 2 waffle machines both had out of order signs. The juice machine was running water on all except apple juice. They had a very little amount of scrambled eggs and were stone cold.the bread was hard and they only had a few plain bagels and no other choices like pastries. It was empty. This was at 7:30am. Sorry but worst I’ve seen in a long time!

Location was perfect! Right on the beach and close to lots of attractions and activities. The pool was large and cleaned daily. Lots of tables and seating around the pool and on the deck. Breakfast was great! Waffles, eggs, sausage, muffins, juice, cereal, oat meal, etc. The room was fairly spacious and came with a small fridge and microwave. They even provided me with a bath bench for the shower!

If you have mobility issues It might be a challenge. There are steps to get to the pool and steps to the large upper deck by the pool which is also the designated smoking area. There are 2 elevators but they are small. There is a small bar but no restaurant and a very limited snack bar so you'll have to go elsewhere for food other than breakfast.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nicole Hayes went above and beyond to help me with a situation that popped up. anytime I went through the lobby while she was on duty, she was very kind and respectful of the customers needs and concerns.

The only thing I can suggest is, the walk in shower floors could be more slip resistant and grab bars for the disabled and older adults.

The wonderful experience already started at check-in. Kind and patient attendant, provided us with the best room exceeding our expectations! And even warned us what time the sunrise would be! The room is super clean and comfortable with an exceptional sea view. Breakfast is delicious and you can make your own waffles! All very fresh and tasty! It was an incredible experience! We have already booked the next rest at this hotel.

I think there should be more wall knobs to hang towels and clothes

It was a good sized room, great location, with hands down one of the kindest & most helpful staff I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The breakfast buffet was a nice touch. Will go again, would recommend.

I guess it's to save money but w/ all acting like Covid isn't a thing any longer it would be nice to have regular house keeping again, even with the above mentioned staff providing any requested items w/ no questions asked. Maybe have more than one person over the breakfast situation, poor woman had a hard time keeping up. Don't like the bar w/ snacks only being open weekends.
