We arrived to check in but our room wasn't ready yet. We were asked to wait about 40 minutes so we checked out the beach and walked around a bit. I didn't mind one bit, the few housekeepers we saw were working as quickly as they could in the immense heat. We always check for bugs right when we arrive, bed and otherwise, and found no evidence of any. The beds were comfy, the air kept our room nice and cold, the pool was nice, the ocean view was beautiful. We were offered new towels and trash bags daily and the staff was very pleasant. I don't understand all the bad reviews. My daughter and I have stayed many places and are pretty easy to please but sometimes I forget that some people just live to complain. There is evidence of hurricane damage but the sight of it did not disrupt our vacation, neither did the construction of the hotel next door. There was always plenty of ice but I couldn't tell you about the breakfast option as we only popped in once to grab a blueberry muffin. Also not sure about the elevator as we normally take the stairs for a couple different reasons. I did notice they have several cameras around the property. Our door lock switch didn't work so we had to use the chain but I prefer that anyway. I never felt our safety was in question while staying here.

Parking could probably be better. We didn't personally have a problem but I could see how it could be an issue. The fire alarm went off 3 of the 5 nights we stayed, each time after midnight. I was told it's usually kids messing around and the first time it happened it kind of freaked me out. The other times it was just like Oh, there it is again lol Also there was a lot of extra room in our room and felt like maybe a small table and a chair or 2 would have fit nicely.

I liked the fact that this hotel was on the beach. Very pretty view every morning. The room was a good size and comfortable. And the cost for all of this was extremely reasonable. I will be staying there again.

I didn't dislike anything. I was very happy with my stay. I can't complain about anything. However, I did notice that there was a group of 10 people in the swimming pool, and when beach patrol came by to advise that it was time for all cars to leave the beach, these people got out of the pool and went to their car, and left. Maybe some kind of security at the gate that goes from the pool to the beach is needed so that only people staying at the hotel are the only ones able to use the pool.

Location right in front of the beach was great. Staff was helpful and friendly. Though the hotel seems a bit old, rooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Infraestructure seems a bit old and neglected. There were parta of dome outdide walls crqcked or without paint. Also, some parte were in the procesos of being repaired: cemento marks on the walls that were not yet painted. All this was esthetically bad. The breakfast was a bit repetitive. No eggs and no breqd ever was a bit dissapointing.

The hotel is right on the beach, and the price for the room was perfect.

I did not like being told that I had to wait 5 mins before being able to flush the toilet when it would not flush after waiting 40 mins. They eventually came to "fix it." However, it worked once and would not work again. They moved us next door once I complained again. The refrigerator in that room didn't work. However, I just used our cooler with the ice. (When you could get it) Also the elevators were broken all week.

It was extremely close to everything, and I enjoyed returning to the town I basically grew up in and having somewhere comfortable to go back to when I needed to get out of the awful humidity and heat 😂

There were some stains on the carpet. It was a bit messy, but the bedding was clean. There were no bedbugs and for the price it was worth it, and it did not feel dingy. 

Excellent place to stay. The prices are very good and the staff is always very nice. Free breakfast every morning. Last time I stayed they upgraded my room to a balcony facing the ocean. The fact that it's on the ocean is a huge perk. My one complaint is the incidentals deposit, which is either $100 or $150. A little excessive. But over all great place.

Great location, great ocean view, easy access to beach and pool.

We had an issue with our air conditioner, smelled very strong of mold when we first arrived, but was attended to in a very timely manner & fixed.

The room was very modern in decor and very clean. The front clerk had a nice smile.

The washing machines were broken. The hotel building and hallways were cracked, peeled and rusty looking.

My family went for spring break the staff was amazing, clean rooms, good price had our own balcony beach view location was very close to the action at the board walk.

They had breakfast,pool was open late,and easy to get to the board walk and restaurants by walking

Broken laundry machine, broken elevator, there were nothing hot for promised hot breakfast, nobody cleaned the room for 10 days.
