Very nice location and facility. Friendly and clean.

What I did not like is having no warning on Booking.com that you have to pay for parking each day and also Booking.com said there would a $150.00 security charge for you stay which is refundable upon checkout. I had figured that in the plan but when i checked in they required $100.00 per night for the security deposit locking up $600.00 on my card when i had only budgeted for the $150.00 for the 6 night stay. That 450.00 ectra on top of the 142 00 for parking and a wrist band to get around in the hotel was an extra 600 00 hit to my available vacation funds furing my stsy. Was not happy about those syrprises.

The room was nice. The hotel lobby was really nice.

I did not like to have to pay for parking. Booking.com said nothing about paying for parking when I reserved my room. I did not like having to pay for the wrist band. A free key card works just fine. I did not like having to pay $100.00 per day security deposit when Booking.com said it would be $150.00 for the whole week, not $600.00 like I paid. That was a total surprise and bit into my expendable vacation money on hand during my trip. I was not happy at all with that surprise upon arrival. Prices are way too high for drinks at the hotel.

The service and staff were amazing. Especially Mike at the bar. Our room was clean and spacious. The view was awesome as well. Valet was on point and timely. The little store was cute and had an assortment of items to purchase.

Our room was clean but was not in the greatest shape. Especially the bathroom area. The shower was missing shelves that had been taken off and chunks visibility missing, water was leaking from the temperature control handle and from behind the tub spout, and the toilet rocked. The bed was so hard I had to fold the blankets in half and sleep with the extra blanket in the closet.

Location of the property was great and convenient. There was plenty to do within walking distance of the location.

I did not receive a folio from the hotel property or from booking.com. I still have not received a receipt of charges to this day; four days after checking out. Parking was extremely limited. They had a self-parking option but closed off 2/3 of the self-parking spaces available as unavailable. I drove into the valet parking area and parked my car with no other option and was chased down by two valet workers saying that I couldn't park there because of it being valet. I told them I was staying right their where I parked but would pay the valet fee because I had no choice.

Room was very nice and overlooked the pool and ocean. Lobby bar was a lot of fun. Outdoor bar was very nice. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Location is close to restaurants and smaller local eating spots.

Price.

I liked everything about the facility except for the outside noise was not expected. I was on the 5th floor and could hear cars with music and motors passing by.

Property is going through a renovation and the main lobby looks beautiful. the building is now white and i did get lost because I was looking for yellow ( ha ). The outside had a DJ and it was like a party.

the rooms are outdated. The rugs seemed gross and the room had rust and a broken lamp. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t the best. Restaurant 1888 was GROSS.

Hotel has been upgraded. I had a Double Queen Suite with Oceanview. The room is extremely large and has a mini-fridge and microwave. Beds were comfy. The hallways smelled great. Upon check-in, they provide a complimentary drink card for a sangria, which was fairly decent. The pool is heated and stays open fairly late for those who prefer to swim after the kids have gone to bed. If you've heard the ghost stories and are a little hesitant about staying, I'd glad to report, I saw no supernatural experiences or felt any weird energy while there.

Bathrooms are small so if you're like me and like to set up toiletries up on the counter for easy access, think again if traveling with more than 1 person. There's no counter space really, just small glass shelves over the toilet. Not enough places to hang your wet towels/washcloths. Wristbands for entry always gave me an issue on the elevator. Really small things that wouldn't effect my rating. Self parking is open lot connected to the building so save your money on valet. I bought it because they didn't give a better depiction on the distance. There's no full length mirrors. Fee for self parking didn't make sense since I'm parking to stay at their establishment.

Hotel smells great throughout main areas. Nice location with drive free beach, performer in lobby Friday night was really good. Room size was great. Liked having refrigerator and microwave in room. Activities for kids i.e. basketball, Cornhole, chess, badminton, etc. Good food at pool bar. Front desk person named "Only" was very nice when checking in and out. Help with unloading car and delivery of luggage to room was great.

When arrived carpet in front of room and down hall needed to be cleaned. There was a q-tip, bandaid wrapper, tooth flossing thing, and razor cover on the floor from the time we arrived until check out 2 days later. With everyone short staffed these days, I overlooked it. The biggest issue was only 3 small elevators which cause long waits especially during check-in and check-out hours.

The room was acceptable, although the TV was not plugged in, and the ice box needed defrosting to be useful. The pool and surroundings were very enjoyable. The conference center rooms were adequate, for the most part.

The mandatory electronic wristband keys (needed to operate access doors (and your room), the car park, the elevators, and to get back in from the pool) were a common source of complaint among our group, and ours had to be reprogrammed twice. The breakfast food served to our convention was underwhelming (runny/soupy scrambled eggs, under-cooked and tasteless oatmeal, etc). They had a leak in the main conference room (Plaza A) which forced our final meeting into an alternate room with too few chairs and space, so I and many other had to leave (not standing for an hour and a half in tight quarters).
