Comfort Suites Fernandina Beach at Amelia Island

Friendly staff, Very comfortable mattress and crisp flush bedding, soft pillows, 2 minute walk to the beach. Air was not working properly and check in. Front desk got maintenance to check it.They replaced the unit while my family and I went to dinner. Returned to a nice Artic chilled room. Loooooved it !!!!!

Only complaint was that the breakfast. On Saturday and Sunday was these horrible processed chicken patties as the ONLY meat selection.The Waffle maker has been replaced with a pancake maker. The sausage was not put out until checkout day on Monday.

The location was wonderful - easy to access, close to the beach and just a short jump from downtown. The breakfast was tasty and the dining area kept immaculate. Our room was very nice - clean and neat. I loved the seating area. The bed was also very comfortable, but very high. A little step stool would have been nice.

The air conditioner had a difficult time maintaining a regular temperature. Could probably stand to have the filters changed out.

Location & help from the cleaning staff. Right next to Salt Life restaurant and across from the beach (that has restrooms). Cleaning staff very responsive to our requests although a little tight with the toilet paper. ;-)

Bed was comfortable for only about 6 hrs then I needed to get up. Seemed to curve up on the sides and at the foot. No complaints from my wife or SIL. Don't remember if it was a Queen or Full size.

The location was great, just steps from the beach. There’s a lot of stuff to do around and close to the hotel. The room was comfortable and CLEAN. I love that the shower head was big and there was really hot water. The only thing was the room temperature ( it was not as cold as I like it) but the A/C was working really good so I guess it was because of the heat wave in the area Temperatures were over the 100’s !! I like the fact that the cleaning service comes only if you ask for it. That way you are not being disturbed if you don’t want to!The staff was really nice and helpful, specially Kathie at the front desk!! She was awesome!! I would definitely stay here again!

The room was very comfortable and clean. It was stocked with necessary items. It was located near the front for easy access for husband with Walker.

We were very disappointed with breakfast. Unaware of the breakfast time, we were about 30 minutes later. The server was about to clear the food and she seem agitated that we wanted to be served. She just told us to hurry up before she took things away! Also, the juice machine was turned off.

amazing location right across from a public beach park and the rooms were large and clean and the beds were very comfortable. the staff people were really friendly and helpful and professional. They were also quite helpful with restaurant recommendations and giving me extra receipts.

the sheets were kind of hot-might be they were a synthetic material. i generally sleep hot so I'm sensitive to that.

We like that hotel had great restaurants nearby. Near to shrimp fest and beach. Breakfast was great.

My cell phone kept canceling my door key! I had to replace them daily for ones that worked. Cell phone was in Fanny pack. Canceled key code even if kept in pocket on opposite side as Fanny pack. Very frustrating. Only problem we had.

I loved the staff, especially the 2nd shift young lady, also the kitchen lady was a real sweetheart. The room was awesome, it was clean and smelled really fresh and nice. The bed was big and it was very comfortable. Everything was great!!!!!

Nothing could be better, everything was great, from day one to the end of my stay. The breakfast area was well stocked, and the tables were always clean. It was a very pleasant and comfortable beginning to a great day.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good (limited selections, but something for everyone). Room, hotel, and grounds were clean. Service was great (when needed). Price was extremely reasonable for area and location. Location! Location! Location! Just steps to the beach!

I liked the location and the cleanliness of the room.

The breakfast wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good. Wish the options were healthier. Fruit wasn’t ripe and eggs didnt taste good. But there were other things to choose from and the area was kept clean and stocked.
