beautiful facilities and accessible location with nearby attractions.

check in is too late and by the time a family of 4 checks in and leaves their bags in the room, the water attractions are closed. the big water slides close at 5, the pool bar grill closed at 5 as well and the lazy River closed at 7. The room rate was $420 dollars for one night and the reason why we chose Gaylord Palms over other hotels were for the water attractions for our family. Hotel should let guest enjoy the attractions longer and at least offer some kind of complementary breakfast for such a high priced room.

As I stand on my balcony, overlooking the stunning atrium, I can't help but feel grateful for this breathtaking view. The colorful light show illuminates the entire space, making it even more mesmerizing. And the breakfast buffet is a culinary delight, with an array of mouthwatering dishes that leave me feeling satisfied and content. The ambiance of this hotel is simply lovely, with every detail thoughtfully designed to create a comfortable and relaxing environment. And the staff are nothing short of amazing - always ready to assist with a warm smile and friendly attitude.

The walls were too thin, and we were disturbed by the noise from our neighbors.

Christmas decorations were absolutely beautiful, as always. The rooms we stayed in were spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. Dinner at the Moor was gastronomic. The service was great. The staff was very friendly. Lunch and dinner at Wreckers was excellent, and those awesome pretzels (4 on your order) and burgers were also great. Check-in and out was excellent. I have been a Marriott customer for many years, both national and international. I will continue being a Marriott customer. Thank you.

For a New Year's weekend, our room was serviced the second day, but we had to ask for service the third day. The New Year's Buffet at Villa de Flora was ok, but nothing to brag about when you consider the price. We dined at 9:00pm. The dessert table was awful with only a small variety to choose from. The Italian presentation was very good. The shrimp were very nice. Some more boutique shops would be nice. One Bringing in 2024vmore upscale dining would be awesome. I still love my Marriott or Gaylord Palms Resort in Kissimmee.

The interior atrium and courtyard were spectacular and very well kept. The outside grounds were large and quite pleasing for just strolling. Visual appeal at all angles, my daughter especially enjoyed the light show in the atrium at 9pm.

The dining choices were limited immensely during mid afternoon and on certain evenings. There were a few “Starbucks” inside the building but I was shocked to find that only the “partial” one inside the market was open on Monday at 10am… there was no information on the website advising that any of the facility was under construction but on Monday morning I was awoken to the sound of saws in the atrium. Thankfully I had seen the construction areas prior but this was still unexpected when we arrived. I saw signs inside the atrium for a steakhouse on property but never actually found a steakhouse, nor was one listed on the food link from the hotels QR codes in the welcome brochure.

Outstanding resort!!! Staff, amenities, food, drinks...everything was 5 star! The grounds are absolutely beautiful with all the flowers, waterfalls and koy ponds! Our room overlooked the atrium and was very comfortable and quiet! Great pools!! Alonso our valet driver was amazing, what a great guy!!!!

Drink prices were a bit inflated. We dined at The Old Hickory restaurant on the grounds and had friends from the area join us. Dinner prices were extremely overly expensive, and the 4 NY strip steaks (all ordered medium) were very dry and not flavorful at all. Would not dine there again. It would be nice to restrict one of the pools to adults only. It's not very enjoyable for a couple on a romantic getaway when kids are running, screaming, and splashing all around.....need some quiet space.

Great stuff, beautiful setting, fun pool activities

The hotel itself is wonderful. But we are the family of five (three young children). Had to bring our own mattress for the "5th wheel." They do not provide a rollaway bed. (This is an option at Sister Hotel Renaissance Sea world) .Also, something they did not think through, the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are placed so high in the showers that even my 9yo could not reach. I had to stay in the shower for all 3 children, twice a day, to keep pumping the products for them. It was very frustrating. If you can not place them lower, allow to be picked. But they were firmly attached. Only soap was available on the sink counter.

The pool area is amazing for kids and families. The Atwood River is so much fun, you put on life vest, put your feet up and float away. They have an amazing 3 story tall water feature area for kids with 3-4 slides for them. Tons of water pouring down. The food at the pool does not open till 11, I think it could’ve opened at 10 and had plenty of business. There are two other larger slides for bigger kids and adults, which looked really fun, and the water surfing feature. The atrium is beautiful to walk around, they were doing a little bit of construction to an area so that will be exciting to see what they are doing.

The only downside was the parking, very tight, fitting spaces and area to maneuver through. And the price of parking is a little extreme.

The atrium set up

I tried to look at a Christmas practice show they were having (at edge of curtain) and the security on Friday night 11/10 was VERY rude. Later my son was trying to talk to one of the coordinators of the show as he is an actor and was gaining knowledge/networking, again the same security guard was very mean to him. Mind you the lady he was talking to was super nice and more than willing to answer questions. The security came up and kick him out. He needs to be retained, this is not Broadway and/or major security risk.

The hotel is huge with lots to do, the atrium was my favorite part.Walking around the facility was fun and relaxing.I visited during the holidays and the decorations were beautiful. The location was less than 12 minutes to the parks and Disney springs. Ice is a must if you’re staying during the holidays!

Although the too was a good size, it was outdated. The beds make a loud squeak and are a bit uncomfortable. They had a fire alarm test during my stay that scared my young children.

clean, well appointed room especially with a balcony overlooking the Atrium. Over 4 acres of gorgeous tropical foliage, rock & structures with local wildlife to view, all completely covered with glass!Amazing!! Lots of shops & restaurants scattered about as well. Huge area with water features & parks for kids.

The overall expense!! The food & libations while generally good was way overpriced! Room rates were very high even for the rooms with balconies facing outside (i.e. non-atrium views).
