Renaissance Fort Lauderdale West Hotel

I got impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the room. The housekeeping staff put in great effort to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. The furnishings were up to par, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day travelling. The hotel staff also deserves commendation for their professionalism and friendliness. They were always willing to help, be it with recommendations or addressing any concerns. In conclusion, if you're looking for a comfortable stay and excellent service, this is a great choice.

The one downside to this otherwise excellent establishment is its location. There is nothing interesting in the area that I noticed. Just be prepared to spend a little extra time traveling to and from your destinations.

I really like everything about my stay. The check-in staff is friendly, helpful, and fast. The lobby itself already impressed me with its beautiful aesthetic and warm vibe. The room was a good size. I appreciate the spacious shower and the comfortable bed. I have a sensitive nose so if a room smell musky I would detect it right away - our room is musk-free, it smells clean and the temperature is just right. We did not use the amenities and sleep (so well!) past the breakfast time lol so I do not have any review on that.

The elevator is a bit dingy but not so bad.

We were pleasantly happy with the service and the food at the breakfast. The location for us was perfect. We had been there last year and again this year both times for family weddings. We are very familiar with plantation. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the service was outstanding.

Very modern hotel with free parking, free Wi-Fi and nice pool. We had a spacious room with a very comfy king bed. Everything was clean and the bathroom was very nice, too. The staff was friendly and we had a great stay there. The breakfast was VERY good.

Admittedly a bit weird to pay an extra service charge for a buffet breakfast and at 22.50$ per person (excluding the service charge) not exactly a steal. But still worth it due to the fresh fruit, bagels, pancakes etc.

Everything was great from time I checked in until checkout- extremely clean and staff wonderful.

Only negative was the shelf stable coffee creamer in the rooms. I was unable to drink the cup I brewed because the cream curdled in the coffee. One of the front desk employees gave me half and half from the kitchen even though it was not opened yet! She went above and beyond my expectations!

Breakfast was very good, but would have liked a little more variety every day.

When we first got there our room had ants and only one towel. I complained to management and they went above and beyond to correct the problem. I truly appreciated that. Housekeeping was exceptional! I did however feel uncomfortable with all employees still wearing a mask and signs everywhere to stay 6 ft apart. I hope to see smiling faces next time I stay there.

My wife and I were looking for somewhere to stay in close driving distance to sawgrass mall. The receptionist that assisted us with check in was very friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed in on the 4th floor was very comfortable. It was small, but the perfect size for a couple and the design maximized the space available there was even a dining table to eat on and mini fridge provided. The decorations used in the room really brought life to the rooms. Loved the beach wrap on the back of the bathroom doors. Was a nice stay and would recommend for singles or couples.

Breakfast

First you charged 2 times all i wanted is to change my date from second of nov. To1st not 2 booking. Now you must credit my acount asap. Than the bed was high we needed a lather to clime so they gave me a little bedat the side of table uncomfotble we were tired and disapointed need to talk to some one responsible about you booking 😴 and plus they could not find my name so please credit my acounr now since i paid to the hotel.

There was a small issue with my bill being charged for a service, I brought it to the attention of the front desk and as a rewards member it was immediately removed. no additional questions asked.

Nothing to complain about. I only stayed for two days and my room was not cleaned. it would be nice to inform customers at check-in that room cleaning is not being completed. Very small miscommunication but overall no complaints.

Location was great near Broward Mall, The fountains and many other options. a short distance to sawgrass outlet mall and with many options of restaurants and shopping around. The hotel is very clean, gentle staff. A very very good stay.
