They charge $30 for the parking, It's too expensive

loved the hotel very nice decor staff Adam was great at helping get transferred to my new room I can not think of the front desk guy name he's a young man unique name who help get things figured for the error made on my card for my stay ... Smelled amazing, very nice i loved it for the most part

i hated that construction was going on so i didn't get to enjoy the view, my room had to be changed due to technical issues with the tv, which came with a room change to a higher level the room smelled like mildew and i didn't want to complain due to the tv issues and i could now hear the construction noise and let's not forget you guys need to something about the parking no one want to travel and say at a hotel and pay for parking every night NOT COOL! and a small complementary breakfast on a stay want hurt.... and a new dish at the restaurant would do some good maybe the best lamb chops in Flor

Very clean. Updates beautiful. Sam the bartender is probably your very best asset to the team. He was phenomenal!

You charge $30 for a “destination fee” that is just completely not necessary. Internet should be free and I didn’t need a $15 credit to eat on property and most certainly didn’t need two small waters. You are forcing people to eat there to use credit but even just the two of us spent well over $100. This is nothing but a scam to get more money out of patrons of hotel. On top of that there is no place to park and valet is $40 a night. Ridiculous! If you do not have self parking then you should offer complementary valet. I will not stay here again. Much more economical options that are just as nice nearby that don’t charge extra for internet and parking. Such a shame because the hotel with its recent renovations is beautiful.

The detailing of the whole inside of the hotel. The front desk staff was wonderful as well as the breakfast staff & bar attendants. The bedroom is absolutely beautifully detailed wooden bed frame with matching dressers.

I was disappointed that for the high charge of auto parking the lot and walk is a block away, no valet service was available. Although upgrading the outside, several exit doors are locked/blocked due to scaffolding surrounding the building. I was unaware that rooms are only cleaned every 3 days, not every day. We had to request all bathroom towels and toilet paper which were not delivered during our 2 night stay.

Beautiful Historic Hotel in the heart of the city. Quick walk to many cafes and places nearby. Large bedroom. Being renovated. Lobby details with the high ceilings and all the carpentry work. Elegant ambiance, courteous staff.

It is under remodeling and on Friday morning there were people working on the outside of the bedroom window. The elevator in lobby had only 1 working on several occasions. Bathtub needs replacement

The room, and it being on the 18th floor, was great. Big room - great view. The breakfast was pretty decent too. The hotel, which was said to be the oldest in Tampa was gorgeous. It's being done up, but it looked great. It was easy to get into town, and back again, safely.

I was charged again for, possibly service/tourist taxes of some sort, even though I'd paid for the room and all nights in full. Fortunately, I'd checked my bank before I left the hotel and it was reversed when I questioned the charge. However, it, along with the $150 fee for any potential damage hung around in my bank's 'payment's due' for longer than was necessary. It was hard to find decent places to eat outside of the hotel, but that's not the hotel's fault.

Very clean, rooms spacious and loved the renovation, nice mix of old and modern. Bathrooms are the bomb! The shuttle service really was a welcome addition. Loved all the drivers but appreciated Isaiah getting us to the port for our cruise and helping with all our luggage (yes I over packed lol). All the staff was friendly and helpful.

Felt like we traveled back in time. The decor and style dates back which makes this hotel very charming. Breakfast was pretty good. A good variety, oatmeal, eggs, bacon/sausage (varied by day), cereal, make your own waffle and fruit, as well as coffee, tea and juice. If you have special diet needs, ask staff to see if they can accommodate. Bed and pillows were a bit too firm for my preference, but room itself was spacious. Location was great, we walked around town with ease. Plenty of food options nearby. Tampa University within walking distance, an interesting place to tour. There will be a bar/restaurant in hotel which looks very nice, opening soon.

I didn’t like that I had to pay for parking. That should’ve been free. I also didn’t like that the TV didn’t have internet capabilities, I wasn’t able to use Netflix or cast Netflix from my phone. But most importantly, I specifically requested that towels be left on the bed in the shape of a heart along with a bouquet of roses when I made the reservation and it wasn’t there.

This hotel in the heart of downtown Tampa was absolutely STUNNING and had so many historical features that were preserved!! It was really cool to see the old mail chute near the elevators and an old fashioned shoe cleaning chair! The lobby is just gorgeous with huge sparkling chandeliers and intricately decorated ceilings! We had a beautiful corner King room and it was very large with a big flat screen tv, ornate furniture and curtains and a full length mirror. A/C was perfect, and the lighting was nice, and the carpet was clean and plush. The bed linens were super clean, pillows were nice and fluffy, and the bed was super comfy! The bathroom was large with a big roll-in shower that got nice and hot (and included a shower chair). We requested extra towels and they provided that in our room. The girl at the front desk was so sweet and helpful and had a lovely sense of humor even under pressure! Also bonus, free breakfast in the morning (served on real dishes!)

Honestly the biggest complaint I have would be no fridge or microwave in the room, and no ice maker on our floor so we had to go to the lobby for ice. Breakfast was just okay, food was done nicely but selection was minimal: juice and coffee, toast and waffles, cereal and yogurt, scrambled eggs and sausage patties, and fruit. Our shower light didn't work and the roll-in shower didn't have a door or curtain so that was a little weird but not bad I suppose. Only other thing would be there are only 3 elevators for the building so during busy times it took a little longer waiting for one to come that wasn't full.
