This hotel was phenomenal! Location is unmatched, as you are within walking distance of the river and tons of great restaurants! Short walk to multiple metro stations for connections to Wrigleyville, etc. The staff was incredible, even catching cabs for us when Uber was down! Our room ran a little hot the first night and we mentioned it to the front desk clerk. In less than an hour, he had an engineer up to the room to fix the AC. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel!

Nothing could have been better! Seriously, the best hotel I've stayed in. We will definitely return to the Chicago area again and will stay here every time. Thank you, Radisson Blu for a great 1st time Chi-Town experience!

The beds were really comfy and the pillow spray as added bonus. The gym area is very large and well equipped. The basketball court, sauna and steam room were an added bonus. Our room steward, Henry, was super awesome and brought a refigerator and water to our room for us.

I booked an executive lounge room, but was told at check in that the lounge was closed. That would have been nice to know before I booked that particular room. The did give me vouchers for breakfast, apps, and drinks at the restaurant. The hot tub was not as clean as I expected this property to maintain. Our room was above the fire station, so it was noisy.

I loved everything. The doormen were excellent. The room was beautiful. As soon as i opened the door, the floors were sparkling, literally SPARKLING. Very clean and pretty view. Pool was decent temperature. Hot tub was perfect, except for the amount of chlorine. Floor to ceiling windows are a plus. Within walking distance from everything s tourist could be interested in. My phone died and i had to walk back to the hotel. Let me tell you, i found my hotel just by the distinctive look! I thought it was pretty cool. Taxis are always near by and if there isn’t, the concierge will get you one ASAP. Book this hotel asap!

Too much chlorine in pool and especially tub. Burned my eyes and had to get out sooner than i wanted (unless that’s the intent). The stairs are a little scary and dirty. Don’t like that we have to share pool with the residents.

Facility and location are great. Loved the pool. Loved how walkable it is to MI Avenue and Millennium Park. Loved the decor of the room. Very much enjoyed my dessert room service splurge.

My only critiques are: 1) The small table in my room had a very visible spot of spaghetti-ish sauce on it, and there was something sticky on the floor of my bathroom. But I didn’t complain. I’m not a Boomer. I can deal with these things. 2) I just thought it was weird that in the year 2023, the only streaming service I could log into in my room in a four-star hotel was Netflix, which has consistently been the worst of all them for years now. This is extremely nit-picky, I know. But you asked!

Great location, beautiful building and so easy to navigate to and from if you're visiting Chicago, we were able to walk or use public transportation with no issues at all. The hotel itself is lovely, room a great size and tasteful decorated with modern decor - especially loved the sparkly floor tiles. Floor to ceiling windows meant we had a great view but didn't interfere with the heat in the room as it was very cozy. Lots of storage space - I love to empty my suitcase when I arrive and was able to do that no issues. Also breakfast is served till 11 - brilliant for us late risers. Every member of staff we encountered was great, friendly and professional. My son & husband used the indoor pool and jacuzzi and loved it, the outside area of this hotel is better than any I've seen in a long time, BBQ areas, fire pits, plenty of seating, a common area, a running track. Will definitely be back in the summer.

Very few issues, I would say these are all totally nit picky and didn't really interfere with our stay but.... We couldn't get Netflix to work despite being logged in, not sure what the issue was but it wasn't important enough for us to report to front desk. Also the connection on the TV was a little spotty so it kept freezing for a couple of seconds at a time, again NBD. Although there was plenty of storage in the room there isn't much in the bathroom. Also the bathroom door is a barnyard door type so you can hear everything in the bathroom and there's no lock., We're a close family so it wasn't a problem but if you're a little shy maybe it would be a problem.

The location is excellent, particularly if you want to explore Chicago on foot: Lakeshore East Park, Millenium Park, Art Insitute, boat tours, Navy Pier, Magnificent Mile, etc., are all a hop, skip and a jump away. No need for public transport or a car. The guest facilities on the second and third floors, e.g., pools (indoors and out), hot tubs, game room, fitness room, outdoor track and observation deck, etc., are an excellent place to relax and the views quite nice. Room was clean and newly renovated. Parking is very easy and convenient (even if on the pricey side--this is downtown Chicago). Staff was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns.

The elevators are rather slow, somewhat inefficient, and not terribly easy to find. It was not obvious where they are or which ones are for hotel (as opposed to rental apartments and condominiums). Waits could be several minutes, especially at check in and check out times.

Great location. Easy walk to Michigan Ave, the river, Maggie Daley and Millennium Parks. Nice pool, workout area. Great view of Lakeshore east park. Much quieter than other downtown locations for traffic.

We did not get our room until after 3:30 PM. We were supposed to get a text but never did so we only got it then because I called the desk to see if the room was ready. I imagine having a facility that has residential and hotel together brings challenges. The indoor whirlpool had a lot of dirt lot buildup at the water level

The Ambassador Suite had a bidet which was a very nice touch. The room was bright and airy with great views of the city and the park. The sitting area was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was quite good, and served with Starbucks coffee.

We had to call the front desk about smoke coming into our room and were offered an upgraded room. Upon getting situated in our new room at 10:30 pm and getting to bed we were woken by loud music and partying. We had to call the front desk three times for the loud music to be turned down. It was very inconvenient but the staff did give us 2 mornings worth of breakfast vouchers for our troubles.

The car park is expensive, but really convenient and easy to use, so I was glad to have that facility. Check in was straight forward and the staff were lovely, and our room - a suite with balcony - with just perfect. Clean, comfortable, nice view of the park and a glimpse of the water. There were two AC units and they both worked well which was nice, but I didn't manage to find a sweet spot, I was either too hot or too cold, but that's probably user error! We had a small fridge which worked great and a coffee maker, but only a couple of sheets of coffee - it would have been nice to have more as we took the 'green' option of no housekeeping service. Sure we could have asked at reception though. The hotel was extremely quiet given its location, and the location is perfect - walkable to many things.

Nothing really.

Customer service was great. I wasn't happy with my first room assignment. I explained that I was there for the weekend to celebrate my birthday and wanted nicer accommodations. The room they originally put me in was small and had a view of a roof of the building next door. I was horrified as these rooms are expensive. I spoke with the front desk, and she immediately upgraded me to a better and much bigger room with a nice view of the pool and park. I was very happy after that.

Nothing, everything was great.
