Magnolia Hotel St. Louis, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

We loved our stay here! This hotel is gorgeous. I absolutely loved all the details, stained glass, and chandeliers in the lobby and dining area! Our room was a really good size and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The shower's water pressure was also great. This hotel is located a little further from the arch than some others but is still in a great location.

Our Deluxe City View Room had two windows - one which peeked out into a square on the back of the hotel and another that looked out on to a fire escape and the building next door. Definitely not what I would consider an amazing view, but at least we could sort of see the city. I wish the room had better lighting over the large full-length mirror, and although I appreciated the seating area the coffee table was giant and oddly shaped (circular) which meant I banged into it when I got up in the middle of the night. Also, the only parking available is valet and it is very expensive.

The room was great. A lot of space, separate bed and TV area, comfy beds, easy to adjust the room temperature. The restaurant staff was amazing and the food was good. Might sounds basic but a mini fridge in the room is always a plus. Love the pool table in the lobby area!

A small market to find sun dries, snacks and drink was definitely missing in the hotel. Also, for the price of the stay, I found it was missing the extra touch: the in-room coffee, soap, shampoo, were cheap to say the least.

Great location plenty of food options around you could walk to and also within close proximity to the Arch

Unbeknownst to me $44 to park at the property. And I thought when I was booking that it stated the parking was available. Staff corrected me parking was not included and I actually even called the property before I left to make sure that our van would fit in their garage and that parking was included and I was told that it was. But staff did not budge

I liked that it was a historic hotel

It would’ve been nice if there was a complimentary breakfast. I wish there was a microwave so we could heat up leftovers. No free parking put a bad taste in my mouth. it should be included. we spent hundreds of dollars just in parking because no where was free. rooms could be bigger. felt tight and cramped.

Everyone was friendly and hotel was very clean

I paid extra for a room that was bigger and when i arrived i was told that my room was 'upgraded'.. it was upgraded to a higher floor but the smaller room than I had originally booked. Parking was also expensive and was not a planned expaense as the listing mislead that parking was free and valet was optional. Valet was the only option.

We stayed for one night, just visiting for a birthday party. The bed was so comfy, I was tempted to peel back the sheets to see what brand it was. I wish we stayed longer! The bathroom is also really pretty. Checked in late, so I parked as soon as I legally could instead of using the parking garage. If the bed weren't so comfortable, I would have worried more about that, but I passed out pretty quickly. My car survived the night life of St. Louis and we were able to check out the City Museum before it got crowded.

Beautiful building both inside and out . Wonderful amenities, spacious and clean rooms . Experience from the check in process to everything in-between was amazing and accommodating. We will definitely return for another stay!

Nothing to mention

I attended a Concert & while waiting for Uber outside the hotel, I became disoriented & almost fainted due to heat exhaustion & The Magnolia let me rest inside & assisted me in my recovery, so I booked a room immediately.

it was a very nice stay when we got back to our room the bed was made room had been cleaned new towels very impressive staff kind and courteous

Very friendly staff, beautiful facility, spacious rooms.

It was very hot (83) in the suite when we arrived and we couldn’t lower the temperature because a/c had been shut down for winter. They did bring us a fan which helped a lot. The temp outside dropped in a day or two so it was more comfortable in the room.
