Hilton Garden Inn Shreveport Bossier City

Very nice, pool/smoking area was exceptional. Easy to navigate around to find the lounge, the restaurant, the pool.

The site says they have shuttle service to the local concert venue AND they will tell you they have it if you call and ask but it is not true. The only reason I booked with them instead of a cheaper but still sufficient competitor is for that shuttle. I was very disappointed that they said they did but didn't. And, run the hot water for a good while before you need it. It takes a few minutes to get to your faucet.

The shuttle service was great! Olivia and Randy made sure we arrived to every destination safely and on time. The pick up was quick and we never had to wait longer than 10 minutes! Also after we checked out they let us come back and eat our lunch before getting on the road!

Our a/c was not working properly in our room so it was hot all night. The staff was awesome when we got ready to check out they discounted our room without hesitation.

The room was comfortable and spacious. And it was close to where I needed to go. Staff was helpful. Pool was beautiful although a bit cold.

Not one vending machine on any of the 4 floors of the hotel worked. In the vending machines a bottle of water was $1.50 but at the front desk it was $3.00. When I booked the room it said it had a spa bath tub but my room had a handicapped bath tub. There was mold in the tub also. The hot tub outside was being repaired.

Clean

One of the staff members was about to turn us away because he did not see my name for the booking but luckily someone else stepped in and realized he was on the wrong page. He then told us we would get complimentary breakfast but in the morning a staff told me he must have gotten our stay confused with the extended stay side. That’s two times in a row. I don’t know if he is new or what but it made us uncomfortable on whether or not we were even charged for our room correctly (if he charged us the price of the extended stay vs hilton garden). Also there is only one elevator per hotel (so for the garden side it’s just one). The elevator is too small to house a whole hotel. It was crowded and half the time we told the people they could go up first without us.

It was in a nice part of town, and one of the nicer hotels in the area.

The hottub wasn’t working. The ice machine on the 4th floor where I stayed wasn’t working. That was a big bummer. The staff were all nice expect one lady working the breakfast bar on Sunday, April 4. Was very rude to me and argued with me that I wasn’t aloud to get breakfast unless I paid for it? I got breakfast every other day of my stay. I told her my breakfast was included with my stay. She refused to give me breakfast unless I talked to the front counter lady. The front counter ladies were wonderful but that lady was rude for no reason. Honestly ruined my whole day.

The property was clean and maintained well. The rooms were clean and housekeeping was always nice and greeted you if they saw you in the hallway. only had a few issues one of them they fixed at check-in overall this is a great stay I would definitely stay again

the beds were so uncomfortable I woke up every morning with a stiff achy back and neck. I didn’t like that they try to charge me more for my reservation than I booked it for through booking.com but after speaking with management they fixed the issue.

The bed was hard and for the price I paid for this hotel room for one night it should’ve came with breakfast. At least a continental breakfast. The waiter let me know really quick that breakfast was not included on the Hilton side of the hotel and a coworker received his bill before he was even given silverware/plasticware or his breakfast he ordered..

I loved that when we got into our room it was already cool and the bed was super comfy!

Booking.com ran our card. Then they ran our card too. Then they were severely rude when we asked about why they ran it for more than was contracted. Then I went down for breakfast this morning and the pump on the creamer wasnt working so i asked if she could get a new one or to pour some out and she told me, if I could do it I could, otherwise she didnt do that and I would have to talk to the manager about it on Tuesday when they returned. That was not something she could or would do. I felt that was horribly rude.

Staff was really friendly, dinner (grilled salmon) was delicious, room was clean, I requested to be close to the elevator before getting there due to knee pain and they accommodated me. I really had an enjoyable stay.

I’ve been doing minor exercises on the treadmill, so when I reserved my room I was happy to see they had a fitness center. But I felt extremely uncomfortable going to it down 2 long hallways and it being in a secluded corner of the first floor. I only walked about fifteen minutes with my daughter on cellphone FaceTime.

The location was great. The pool area was awesome and a great place to relax.

The pillows were terrible. The people above us were very noisy. Kids running up and down the halls banging on the walls. There was also a used condom in our room on the floor....DISGUSTING!! Housekeeping needs to do a better job at cleaning. Tried to call room service several times for the noise and to clean our room and no one responded.
