The motel is old but rustic. They are updating things. It's in a convenient location. The bed was comfortable.

There isn't any elevator in the establishment. If you're unable to climb steps, make sure you get the ground level. The steps are very steep and slick. Be cautious using the handrails on the staircase. Your fingers will get caught in the cracks along structures that have been built. The rooms don't have a refrigerator, and you'll have to carry ice to your room (bring a cooler). The rooms are very small. We had plumbing issues and couldn't use water or any facilities for a couple of hours. If you need parking, you're going to pay $70+ per day to the motel on top of the expensive room prices. Be prepared to listen to people climbing up and down stairs.

I liked the location and the effort of the staff. Also I loved the balcony view.

The room quality. The sound on the TV didn't work. Maintenance had too come and reset it. The sliding door too reach the balcony needed too be oiled. Almost got stuck out on the balcony. Should do a pre-check on all of the amenities before renting out the room.

Absolutely loved the customer service and front staff professionalism! Particularly, the housekeeping manager that was assisting the front desk,, LaShauna Belizeard!! Yes she was so impressive I asked for her card!😍 Room was clean and stayed cool! My balcony room was fantastic and being so close to Bourbon and CC's coffee and breakfast spots was a bonus! Definitely will stay again! LaShauna made sure our stay was A1 after telling her upon check-in the communication was a bit lacking and from that point on our stay was flawless!

The initial front desk clerk was not very friendly and lacked welcoming skills but LaShauna took care of us very shortly after dropping our bags and heading out for a bite to eat! I cannot thank her enough! She will definitely be my reason to return and that awesome balcony view room!

The location was perfect, the staff was exemplary, and the room was very comfortable. The price for the stay was reasonable and we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel.

The rooms were not very soundproof, and we were right off the courtyard. Groups of people gathered there every evening well past midnight. When we phoned the lobby to let them know, they did immediately come to the courtyard and ask people to disperse quietly. The room, unfortunately, was never swept the same dust balls that were on the floor on day. One were still there on the day we checked out.

Location was fantastic. The ladies at the front desk were so kind and thoughtful. The property is beautiful! Room were gorgeous and the all marble bath was also beautiful. It was clean and we really felt like we were in the heart of the French Quarter. Short walk to everywhere. Mardi Gras parades right in front of the hotel the nights we were there. Shower was amazing and the bed was great. Michael helped us with the car and he was terrific also.

Noisy able to hear people in the courtyard and walkways. We felt like it was just a result of the very historical property and everyone was respectful.

The bed and pillows were like heaven!! The room was very clean and I felt like I was in a bed and breakfast.

I had hoped to have a balcony room instead I had a 3rd floor room tucked away in a corner with no view of the outside. There are zero smoking rooms on the premises which was a bit inconvenient being on the 3rd floor. There was no tub, only a shower, it would've been amazing to relax in a bath and there was no mini fridge or anyway to keep our drinks cold.

I loved that it was an old building and in the heart of the French quarter The afternoon front desk lady, Kenyatta Was very sweet but truly awesome that she was able to help me greatly by finding me a parking spot for my stay !!

Parking was scarce and, probably would not have been able to secure a spot without the much needed help from Kenyatta. And in my room the shower was very small, like an old time phone booth.

Charming old property that’s is tucked away from the chaos but yet only a stones throw from all the action! very clean and comfortable with friendly staff. couldn’t get better value for such a fantastic location

No option for breakfast but then there are so many earring options in NOLA to eat breakfast out

I loved the property very much. it was very historical and very lovely.The door man and the staff Saturday night and Sunday and Monday morning was so nice and humble. the staff gave me history on the hotel and always had a smile no matter what the time.

the room was very small. the person that was checking me in wasn’t to friendly at all. stayed on his phone and didn’t really help much.

The ENTIRE staff was EXCELLENT! It was mardi gras and they ensure a safe stay but without taking away from the experience. They we're so cheerful and spoke to all the members of our Krewe. Our Valet was so gracious also! GREAT EXPERIENCE, GREAT BALCONY, GREAT ROOM!
