Location and staff were simply wonderful!! Steven our concierge was a true gem!! The desk staff was very knowledgeable and so proud of their city.. And it showed. Asked them for a place to dine and they delivered nightly. An activity.. Bam!! Great krewe!! The spirits were a bonus.. The stories are very real. Spirits exist here. Voices, rearranging of items in the room, and nightly child laughing in the courtyard were welcome after a couple nights.
Cleaning crew third rate. Need to hire a crew with attention to detail.. Or just common cleaning pride in their work. Uncleaned dust and unwiped paint chips everywhere that looked uncleaned for weeks.

The Location is perfect to experience the French Quarter. Took Ghost tour and was surprised to find that it was part of the tour. Interesting history.
Our room had been abused by previous partiers. Chandlier was bent and connection to ceiling was damaged. Looked like someone had been swinging on it. Bathroom fixtures were loose and shower rod was bent down. I had to straighten it so curtain would stay in place. The room on advertisement was in perfect shape. Very Noisy. Our room was on ground floor which probably contributed to noise. Zero sound insulation. No elevator if you have room on second floor. Car is held captive 3 miles away, so you are not able to access it once you check in. I payed over $50 per day and it is in outside parking lot.

Location was fantastic - walking distance to nearly all major tourist attractions, great food, and Royal is a much nicer street to stay on in the Quarter than Bourbon. We had a courtyard room on the main level, so no stairs required. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and also present at the front desk 24/7, which is nice. There was also an adorable courtyard cat.
The room could have been cleaner (we all noticed some crumbs, etc. in both beds and stains on sheets/towels, etc). Even after our towels were refreshed, the new ones were stained (though they seemed clean at least). Other guests tend to congregate in the courtyard until all hours of the evening, and can sometimes be very loud (not Bourbon Street loud, but still tough if you're trying to sleep - bring earplugs just in case).

I love staying on Bourbon street, but staying on Royal this time around was very nice. it was quaint quite and cute. The rooms are so cute, and I love the architecture and background behind the building since it’s so old and has so much character. The staff was very friendly making it even easier to come and go as we pleased
The only thing was the bed was a little creaky so every move I made I feel like anybody could hear it lol, that’s really the only thing that I could think of, but obviously having a creaky bed didn’t affect the stay whatever

We stayed 4 nights, and had a great time. The room was comfortable with just the right amount of space. The AC worked really well which was key for us coming from a mild climate and not used to the heat. The lace balcony made this room second to none. We spent a couple of evenings enjoying some wine, listening to a street performer. The location was also key. The hotel is close to everything and in the heart of the quarter, yet just far away that it allowed us to have some quiet when we were ready to sleep. Lastly, the staff was amazing. Very friendly and available 24/7 to help. We would absolutely stay here again.
The room could have been cleaned a little better. There were some details that were definitely missed, but nothing that would prevent us from staying again.

The hotel was quaint and our room was huge! We loved the resident cat that walked around the outdoor space. We arrived early, and they accommodated us fairly quickly. The courtyard was cute and relaxing. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly.
The parking was more expensive than advertised on booking.com. Once you are there, you are stuck with what they offer. I was hoping for a ghostly visit, but didn't get even a "boo" :) Of course, that is not the fault of the hotel!

(Senate) Front of house service was exceptional! His knowledge of New Orleans French Quarter was on point. My wife and I found his tips and recommendations extremely helpful during our stay while we were on holidays from Australia in September. If only more front of house managers were like him. The property was tidy and felt very welcoming. The cleanliness of our room was very pleasant. The outdoor garden area is a great addition to be able to unwind after spending a busy day on the streets of New Orleans.
The internet was temporarily unavailable in our room, the issue was explained during our check in. This however was not a big problem during our stay.

staff is super helpful and friendly... Steven was amazing and made sure we had transportation wherever we wanted to go... location is amazing. only a block over from Bourbon St. but is up far enough that you don't get the noise or crowd.
there wasn't anything we didn't like. it's a historic hotel so we expected the rooms to be small and dated but in actuality our room was quite big with vaulted ceilings... bathroom was a little small but it was clean.

We had the best New Orleans stay we have ever had staying at the Andrew Jackson! It was such a nice location and even parking experience even though parking is a few blocks away. THE STAFF MADE THE WHOLE TRIP THOUGH. Sennit and Noah who worked nights and the other guy that worked the morning ( I hate I forgot his name 😔) were literally amazing!! We felt like they were family by the end of the trip. The courtyard was amazing, private, and relaxing, even with bourbon being a block away. Our favorite part of the location was hanging out on the front steps at night and people watching and being super close to rouses, ccs coffee, and all the other cool shops! I will try and stay here every time I come back especially if it's the same staff. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND their duties and gave us such a comfortable and happy experience. We had a few weird things happen like the bathroom door swinging open, hearing loud footsteps, and waking up at the same time in the middle of the night, so make sure you are comfortable with those types of things. The history and significance of the location is a plus to!
The fact we had to go home 😔

Great location. Everything is within walking distance in the French quarter. Came with history which was enjoyable. Staff was amazing. Everyone was very nice and ready to help with any questions. Got great advice on activities or places to visit.
We were on first floor next to the street. Could hear cars, people, music constantly throughout the night. No fridge so not ideal for long stays. Bathroom is small. Barely room to fit the toilet.
