Very nice and peaceful room. It was comfortable and I appreciate both the AC (which was loud) but also option to have fan (very quiet). Loved the wood floors. It was simple but tasteful and in a good location. The location is close enough to the action without the chaos. The location also made it quite easy to get in/out. If the street was busy it is super easy to walk up one block and get to a major street to catch a ride.

The shower was incredibly hot and hard to control the temperature. Water pressure in sink was low in contrast to the shower. Showering was challenging to not get scalded but also have enough water pressure to rinse off.

The rooms are huge and very secure. The staff were lovely and the location is close enough to key places to be able to pop back as needed during the day. We stayed during Mardi Gras and while it wasn’t cheap, the price was good for what we got during that time.

The floors were a little less clean than they could be. Our room was on the ground floor and it was noisy, eg when people were bringing cases downstairs, or if there was anyone outside the apartment, which thankfully was too often. Not that we were home much anyway!

The location was convenient, but still removed enough that it was quite. We were within easy walking distance of Bourbon Street and there was a nice bar right across the street from the hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay. I don't have any complaints. The only improvement I might suggest was adding in better blackout curtains to the rooms. The sunlight comes in very strong in the morning even with the curtains/shades drawn.

The staff went out of the way to make sure everything was enjoyable. Coffee in the office in the morning was great. The inner courtyard was relaxing for sitting outside. Staff made sure there was space to unload upon arrival and departure. Room cleaning was available everyday. Ice machine worked well. The facilities were good for 1805 building. There are many places to eat within a short walking distance Vacharie,Cornet,Gumbo Shop we’re some of my favorites.

It was excellent for room close to Bourbon Street

Within walking distance of everything. Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The courtyard was charming. The staff were very friendly and happy to answer any questions we had.

The room was small, but it was ok because we were hardly in it. The air conditioner leaked so we had to keep a garbage can and towels under it to prevent a mess.

*A beautiful hotel in a lovely location. The balcony really is stunning and fun to people watch from with a great view of the city! It also had a lovely courtyard, which a lot of guests seemed to enjoy chilling in. *Friendly staff. *Nice size room with a nice bathroom and a comfortable bed. *Well located for lots of attractions and walking back to at night. *Really good value for money in an expensive city.

*Our room wasn’t very clean the first night of our stay with crumbs and stains on the bed but once it was serviced the next day it did look better. *Although we knew the hotel was next to a bar and to expect noise at night, it was very loud until quite late- even for a pair of night owls!

Absolutely loved staying here. The bed was super comfortable and the place has oodles of character. The location was fantastic. Only 2 blocks off Bourbon St but very quiet. I totally recommend if you are looking for charm & not a beige, cookie cutter box.

Any complaints would be churlish considering the value for money.

I loved the classic New Orleans exterior the color and the balcony. I love that a little black door opens and leads me down a narrow brick corridor. It feels like a secret passageway in to a different time period. the courtyard was well lit and held beautiful green ivy and tropical banana trees. the room had double doors that opened into a real wood floor and exposed brick walls. so cute everything your looking for in a French quarter weekend. my only negative comment is that the couch was very small and uncomfortable. a giant velvet couch would look sooooo good. also some huge local art would look amazing also. overall it is an amazing property I would definitely stay here again and will talk to all my friends about it. also the bedroom is dark!! which was awesome I haven’t slept that good in ages. I recommend for sure

the couch was small and uncomfortable the bath tub had a slow drain

Adorable, authentic, clean, friendly and funny staff, great location.

Nothing really but I would note if you are on the second floor, there is no elevator, the staircase is outdoors and steeply pitched and, depending on which room you get, you may be walking on a slanted balcony floor to get to it.
