Inn on St. Ann, a French Quarter Guest Houses Property

we absolutely loved how the whole property was absolutely gorgeous and old fashioned. If New Orleans could be defined by one hotel, this place would be it!

the booking.com pictures gave the impression that there was a pool at this location and there wasn’t. Not that it would’ve really mattered because we probably wouldn’t have been able to swim when we went. It was nice for us being from upstate New York but pretty chilly for them down there. There are 3 stories to this place and we were located right on the 3rd floor which we didn’t mind at all actually but it sure made walking back home from bourbon st interesting!! (which is literally a few blocks away!)

We put my mom in this room when we all went down to NOLA for a holiday. It was a lovely space, well furnished in an old-school NOLA style. Mom was very happy there. She slept well and found it quiet at night. When she had some trouble with the heater in the room, the staff came quickly to help her out. The staff were great and always available when she needed anything.

This property was in the heart of the French Quarter, 2 blocks from Bourbon Street and maybe 4-5 normal sized blacks from the Mississippi and the heart of the action. The bathroom was a huge clean spotless room and the beds were in an area that opened onto a Courtyard with a scenic little fountain.

There was no parking but we got really lucky and found a spot out front. However there was a very big pothole in the one way street across from our car, and people who knew about it went around it and came close to our car which was a little nerve- wracking. People who did know about it hit it so hard that sometimes parts flew off their cars!

The staff was fun and so sweet and welcoming. The place was warm with hospitality. We were able to check in hours early, which was nice, and we enjoyed the complimentary coffee every morning. The location was so convenient and close to everything. I enjoyed the security of the building and the cleaning staff did such a good job. Would absolutely be back.

That we couldn't stay longer

I like the fact that everything was surrounding the hotel. The staff was great as far as customer service is required.

Well the pictures makes the place look more old school comfortable but it was like a dorm type deal no window...and you have to park 3 to 4 blocks away. Once you find out where everything is. U didn't need ur car ..

Fantastic friendly host and staff. Great location to be in the French Quarter for a festival - like French Quarter Festival. Close to Armstrong Park and "Pete's place" on the corner of Bourbon Street and St Ann - nice walk to the river - not too far from parking garages - about 1/2 way between Northeast end and Southwest end of the French Quarter - yet far enough away from Bourbon Street when you need to escape the party atmosphere.

Small room with thin walls - probably should have reserved a larger room. Only wanted a room to sleep, but expected to be able to sleep. Although away from street noise activity, too much explicit intimate information about sex activity of occupants of neighboring room coming through the thin wall between the neighboring beds.

Everything! The entrance keycard lock, extra locks on the room door, the incredible staff...literally each member we met on all shifts were exceptional, cleanliness, historic beauty, perfect location...quiet but so close to everything, nice little patio, safe quiet rooms beautifully decorated, and although there was not a room fridge and microwave, they were both available in the lobby with coffee and tea, and with the ice chest, the collapsible cooler we brought was perfect. The help and advice of the amazing staff was what truly made our trip though

Maybe flip the patio chairs over and flatten the seats again with a hammer. Everything else was absolutely perfect though!

The room was a good size as was the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the linens nice. Coffee maker in the room is always good.

They should let people know there are no phones in the room. Cell service in New Orleans is not always great. Might be a problem for International travelers. In the morning, I only saw either cleaning or maintenance staff - no desk staff. The maintenance gentleman was nice enough to call me a cab when I was checking out.

Location! It was minutes to walk anywhere we wanted to go in and around the French Quarter. Our room had great AC and was adorably quaint as things tend to be in the French Quarter.

There was nothing we didn't like, but I had not realized quite how small the property would be based on the listing. The inn is made up of rooms only with no additional amenities like a fitness space or pool area. Again, this was not something negative, just helpful to know when booking.

I didn’t stay in the hotel itself as I staying in the property across the road. wasn’t a big issue I’d have just ordered the Hotel. shower works in reverse hot is cold cold is hot. I endured 2 cold showers before asking reception why there was no hot water.
