I like that I had access to the pool and jacuzzi. It was very peaceful. The staff was nice and took care of my needs.

I didn't like that i didn't have a microwave in my room. And was told that I could request one , if there wasn't one in the room. That wasn't true. When I inquired about it, I was told that some rooms have them and that the person wasn't suppose to had told me that. Also there were ants crawling along the wall that the bed was on. So not a comfortable stay after noticing that because these darn ants got on you. I didn't noticed them til the third night smh. My husband stayed up the whole night because of this. Couldn't inform staff at that time because they close at 12am.

Staff were awesome, rooms were great, it was located close to everything but still far enough away from to much traffic. Breakfast was included it wasn't anything crazy but it was enough for us. The pool and hot tub were shared buty kids loved it and made friends regardless. Also the vibes of the place in general were very positive and happy it's hard to find now days but I loved it there and was more sad to leave there than the beach in general. Most places it's hard to get comfortable but the room we had was so cozy and warm. I'm not sure why there's such bad reviews maybe they were expecting more than us but we're very laid back and I was very pleased with the shore house. The people at the desk were so inviting and helpful my kids even loved going to the office to say hi. Our first vacation wouldn't have been what it was without the shore house.

The flies that were in the room, the windows from the air conditioner gets dirty, it could've been a little cleaner, hot water was semi hard to maintain but we figured it out after awhile. Parking was tough but there wasn't anything awful about it and for what I paid I can't complain.

This was a good value for the money. The motel was clean and neatly decorated. It has a nice pool and a bonus in ground jacuzzi. There was a basic complimentary light breakfast in the lobby. The pool hours were 10 am to 10 pm which was great. Location was good. It’s right over the bridge to ocean city. A 5 mon drive to the inlet and across the street from the outlets. There were several shopping places and restaurants within walking distance as well. At night it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Staff was friendly and did their best to accommodate. The rooms are small but clean and nicely decorated.

The only thing that would make me hesitate returning is the curtains do not for the window properly. Though this might sound trivial people can look in but they do not block light. So during the day the sun hits you but at night the porch lights which go around the building are super bright. That is good for safety but they illuminate the entire room. Adding 2 extra panels and placing the rods to go over the entire window would solve this issue. Though cute the only mirror was a round decorative one above the sink. I had to take it down to see myself completely. A full length mirror would be better. Also there is no place to sit anything aside from the bed. A drying rack for towels or a hook for the bathroom door would be useful .

The location was easily accessible and the staff was very nice and welcoming. The air conditioner also worked very well in the 95-degree, humid conditions, which was a blessing. 👍

It was no fault of the staff, but the facility was very busy over the July 4th weekend and there was a lot of ambient noise. This became a problem for us when, apparently, young kids in the room above ours began and continued to run around inside their room. It sounded like a herd of elephants was in our room's ceiling, making it impossible to sleep. 😱

The room was very clean, when you first step into the room you can smell the cleanliness with bleach. The bathroom no mold, water pressure was nice, and it was located at a quiet area of the beach. Staff was very friendly and nice. They also provide coffee, and breakfast at 8am. Room was spacious.

The tv remote did not work. They did not leave extra roll of toilet paper or tissue.

pool small only 4 foot deep, shared with neighboring hotel so there were always so many people in it already. bathroom to sink area in my room was a little small not bad as in still usable but if I had needed to share with more people would have been an issue. we did have ants in our room by the third night stay but the next morning I went up the the check in desk and they sent maintenance out to take care of the problem and I did not see another ant the rest of the stay. didn’t like that our room didn’t have a microwave or refrigerator had to keep anything needing to be cold in a cooler with ice the entire time.

Closeness to the beach is totally great! The flooring is great when you have kiddos that leave the pool and come back to the room or from the beach.

There were only 2 towels and 5 guests when my wife went to the office they told her she needed to bring the other 2 towels—kinda hard to do when you have more guest in the room.

The pool was smaller than most but it was perfect for us. It had a kiddy pool area for our 2 year old to splash around in and the hot tub was a big bonus. The bed and pillows were very comfortable to sleep in. Friendly staff and we could fit a lot in the mini fridge.

The AC was right next to the bed and it kept me up some nights because it was loud when It kicked on but if I kept it on constant fan then it was fine. I found it odd that there was no outside drainage line for the AC units so the floor outside the room was always wet.

The front office staff was very friendly throughout my stay. For every question, I was given an answer. I apologize I'm not great with names but the Latino gentlemen who checked me in had an amazing sense of humor. The African American gentlemen who assisted me with an extra toothbrush and TP for my room was very helpful. Lastly, the very nice young lady who extended my check out by 30 minutes made it easier for my daughter to finish packing. You three made our stay great! Thank you.

Prior to checking in, I drove in circles for about 10 minutes. My GPS kept routing me across the street to a mini storage unit which was very confusing. Eventually finding the location. While my daughter slept in, I decided to venture the nearby area. Being a runner, I was not able to find many sidewalks but eventually made my way to the bridge that crossed over to the boardwalk and was able to get a few miles that morning.

The rooms here are very modern and very clean exactly like the pictures I was pleasantly surprised I would definitely stay here again

for a hotel that is not right on the beach it was pretty close to everything and the drive to the beach was very short and there were many restaurants and activities located around the hotel I also love the look of the hotel it was very modern and didn’t look trashy from the outside or the inside
