Breakfast was fine. Pool was empty

I think the hotel has a lot of potential. I am sure that back in the day, it was a classy place. Renovations are being done, so I am sure the looks will improve. The neighborhood looks a little iffy. We were glad the parking was inside. There are cameras at the front desk and I hope one is pointed to the garage. I think the black paint around the outside is not appealing. I am guessing it covers graffiti, maybe. ?? But a prettier color would add a lot. Would definitely stay there again, and see how things progress.

The pool, though did not enjoy early morning swim with pool cleaner in the pool. Would have loved music playing while swimming since there appeared to be a very nice music system. Also, came down the stairs, only to find back door to pool locked at 9:30. Very nice room, smelled and looked very clean. Very comfortable. Loved the pool.

Pond of waffle mix under waffle maker caused by mix being so watery. Attendant seemed oblivious to this, though he was standing right next to it, doing nothing, though very cordial. We arrived late at night and had no idea how to enter office or garage. No lit signage to assist us. Once inside garage, we were fine. Had we not paid in advance, we most likely would have left. It felt eery.

Admit it! Hotels in downtown Boston are exorbitantly priced and this place is the answer. Parking is free (and there is loads of parking, including underground). MBTA bus 62 is right outside and goes to Alewife where you can connect with the T. The hotel is tired but our room was lovely, the beds super comfortable, generous number of pillows, masses of hot water and good aircon. Breakfast has something for everyone (yoghurts, fresh fruit, whole meal toast plus waffles, cakes and cereal for those with a sweet tooth). Coffee, fridge, iron and hairdryer in room.

The public areas are tired with seemingly dirty carpets - but it feels like the owners are trying to revive this old beast so the more we support it, the more likely it will improve. Good value for $100 per night.

Beds were comfortable . Bathroom and shower good. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood. not many people in hotel so was quiet. If we can get the same rate, we will probably use it again.

Breakfast--would have like more options--some of the choices were not available on day 2 Small refrigerator was not very handy--sat on floor so not easy to access. Like it was made to sit on a small table.

When I travel for work, I pay for lodging out of my own pocket since I am self employed. This property is the perfect price and location. It is not the Hyatt, but it is also $150 per night less than the Hyatt. If you expect a similar experience to the Hyatt, stay at the Hyatt. For me, I have an extra $150 in the bank after my stay. That makes me happier than a shoe shine machine in the bathroom.

The desk clerk, Tabbu, was so helpful and gracious. Helped us with several things. The room was spacious and nicely done. Hotel was quiet.

The pool was too cold for swimming. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations. I booked the hotel and then read the reviews. Had big misgivings after that, but hotel was nice.

The price is very conformable, in general was good experience. Could be improve in more options for the breakfast for example eggs but was nice experience there.

I loved the location and layout of the hotel. It was beautiful and felt very comfortable.

The pool was not in working order, looked like it hadn't been in a very long time. Also breakfast had so much potential but just wasn't great.

Warmest Pool I have ever went into in a hotel! wow! Front desk very very helpful. There was no breakfast. McDonalds behind the hotel. A strip mall next to the mall. My fav. TJ max and Stop &shop and many more. On to the right of the hotel is Dunkin Donuts and a chipotle and Indian restaurant to the left. One can never go hungry. The Beds and pillows are ultimate-cherry on the cake - for a good night sleep. Starbucks coffee pouches to start the morning.

The price was too low for this beautiful property. I felt I was stealing a night from them. Breakfast would have been good addition. Was told that they are reviving breakfast starting March 2022. The exterior should have more lighting

For me this location is perfect. Everything you could need is right here in terms of food and amenities. The underground parking is great especially when you have your lively hood in tools in your truck and is usually a worry. Rooms are comfortable I was as comfortable here as any hotel I've been. Good cable and even though I haven't used the gym or pool yet it's great that it's there. All in all though I really enjoyed it here.

Elevator was a little dirty and the building itself kind of looks like it was once jail. Some cracks on the cielings and walls that drive me nuts because that's what I do for a living is drywall installation and repairs. I was tempted to ask them if they would give me room vouchers to fix anything they wanted if they did want walls touched up. Mattress kind of had a slope/soft spot but I have seen them putting in new furniture places.
