Large variety for breakfast, something for everyone, with lots of area to sit. Clean pool and hot tub. Everyone at the front desk were super nice. I interacted with five of them. Also, maintenance was super nice as well. The hot tub wasn't heating, so they sent him down right away. It was back working and able to be enjoyed in a matter of minutes. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful and nice. We had an excellent stay. Enjoyed the easy on and off the expressway. Also, a light at the driveway. We felt safe at our place, nice area. The pool being in the basement kept the sound and smell down. A noon checkout topped it all off as wonderful.

We were 3 women traveling on vacation. We needed a hotel which would allow us to have our own beds or separate rooms. We booked a suite with 2 queen beds and a sofa couch (not many of these types of rooms in the Grand Rapids area). Having the suite saved us quite a bit of money. We also needed a room near the airport (this hotel is about 15 min away). It was very easy to get transportation to the airport. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The staff training seems to be excellent and very focused on customer satisfaction. Everyone we spoke with was friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to meet our needs. We were flying out of Grand Rapids and needed to park our car. Although not advertised, the hotel allowed us to leave our car on site for a couple of nights, again reflecting the great customer service. The morning of our departure required us to leave at 4am. Staff was readily available to assist us. The coffee was already brewed and hot, and there was food to take with us (fruit and breakfast bars). While in the area, be sure to eat at The Grill, (located across from the hotel), the food and service are excellent here too. The hotel offers a discount coupon upon check in.

No negative reviews. The neighborhood is mostly commercial businesses and located along a busy highway so not really walkable but this is an easy location just off the highway. The hotel is surrounded by a lovely green space with benches so it was easy to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. We wanted for nothing.

The room was excellent and pretty spacious. The bad was pretty comfortable, too. The staff was amazing. The breakfast was really good the first morning and ok the last morning. The location was really good for what we were doing. Easy on and off of the highway.

The breakfast the last day was.. ok. The French toast was really weird. It was hard like actual toast. I couldn't eat the edges from how hard they were. That was really the only downfall to breakfast. For the room, I wished there were more outlets or USB outlets in the nightstand inbetween the beds. I may have missed them but I didn't see any other than the one on the desk and the outlet by the TV. We also wished that the pool and arcade would have been open later as well.

Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Loved that it had a bathtub (not just a shower). Soaps/shampoo smelled nice. Staff was super nice and let us check in a little early (thank you!) Really close to the Frederic Meijer gardens which was a bonus. AND close to Hop Cat (love the fries!). My partner enjoyed the complimentary cookies at check in and the complimentary breakfast the next day was good (Although I do wish more places would offer gluten free options.)

Honestly can't think of one bad thing about the place. It was an amazing value given the price.

We were in a one night trip to see Holland Tulip Festival and this hotel, that is less than an hour trip to the festival, was booked in advance for being a cheaper option than the ones in Holland. What a great surprise! Extremely clean, comfortable, has a great bed, great pillows, great shower, the staff is always kind and helpful and provide everything that you need. Some hotels in the same category doesn’t do half of the work to make the structure and your stay so comfortable and free of worries. Certainly will be back and I deeply recommend!

Everything was simply perfect!

It is in the perfect location, close to where we needed to be with out the hustle and bustle of being downtown. Staff was extremely helpful and kind, our room was clean the hallways were also very clean. My kiddos had a blast running around, going down to the pool as we stepped out of the elevator I lost the kids and husband to the memorial items on the wall. shortly after they all invested that, we enjoyed the arcade room and then a nice long swim in the pool and hot tub. In the morning we all enjoyed and had a nice breakfast.

The hotel is very clean and the staff go out of their way to assist guests. The room was in perfect order when we checked in. There were plenty of towels, the thermostat was set to a comfortable setting and the room was spotless. The water was hot and the shower had an excellent stream. The hotel features an excellent breakfast bar and the staff work hard to ensure guest satisfaction. There is plenty of parking in a well lighted parking lot. Perfect

I was very impressed how the staff reacted in the face of a tornado. Not only did theyl ensure everyone was safe and supplied laterns for lighting, they ensure outside people with no place to were brought in and sheltered until the tornado/storms passsed. Although the facility was compromised due to no electricity your staff remained helpful and friendly.

Nothing - given the circumstances, I can't think of anything your staff could have done better.

The cookies are welcome and delicious. The Property was in superb condition. Breakfast was a cut above the common 2-star motels. For a one-night stay en route to Big Rapids, we were only regretful that we did not have time to use the laundry facilities.

I would have liked a firmer mattress. Perhaps I didn't take enough time to work out the TV but I could not find the menu of channels. There was no guide to making the use of the TV clear. That would have been more useful than the Gideon Bible.

We stayed in a suite with two queen beds. The beds were very comfortable. Having a living room that included a TV, a small refrigerator and a microwave was really nice! My husband and I were able to talk and watch a TV program after our little granddaughter had gone to sleep. We used the pool, which was nice and warm. Visited the arcade, and my granddaughter won 2 out of 3 games of ice hockey. The complimentary breakfast included many choices, including making your own waffles, hashbrowns, and a build-your-own-breakfast burrito option. Room and hotel was very clean, fresh cookies at check-in, free coffee.... what's not to like? Thanks for the great stay, Country Inn!
