The hosts were very accommodating, and the breakfast was fantastic… We rented the King’s Keep and it was very comfortable, and especially private! We knew going in that there would be a lot of stairs, which were a bit of work for me to go to the third-floor as I’ve been doing PT after hip surgery,… However, the innkeeper, Ken provided an opportunity to stay in a different apartment closer to the ground floor if that had been preferred. We did not accept his invitation, but it was very gracious of him to offer. Very close to a variety of restaurants… We ate at a taco place that could’ve been walked to and it was very tasty. We added a trip the next day to the beach in Grand Haven and we’re glad that it only took us about an hour to get there. We also visited Frederik Meijer Gardens, and coming home to Logan House was especially nice after a long day. The proprietors think of your comfort first and offer you snacks, coffee, drinks, etc. in their kitchenette area, 24/7… It was nice to be treated in such a gracious way! We were able to keep some of our items for the next day refrigerated overnight… That was a big plus. Overall, I would recommend Logan House and would consider staying there again. If stairs or a problem for you, you might want to rethink it, but with the help of my partner, and my cane and gracious proprietors, it was just fine!

I give it high marks! It’s in a lovely neighborhood of homes, and if we had realized ahead of time that we could’ve done a tour of a Frank Loyd Wright house, that was very close we would have done that.

The location is 15 mins from the Meijer Gardens that we visited prior to check-in. The Hosts are very friendly and knowledgeable of Grand Rapids and the Heritage Hills neighborhood. The Breakfast was Great (fluffy pancakes, scramble eggs, bacon, hashbrowns with vegetables, blueberry souffle, and yogurt with a variety of berries, bran, and nuts. The house is HUGE with several common rooms; including a 24/7 snack room (coffee, tea, non-alcoholic cold beverages, bagels, popcorn, trail mix, fruit bars, pop tarts, yogurt, and other refrigerated goodies. The back yard has 4 outdoor tables & chairs with umbrellas surrounded by beautiful flower beds. The Princess Cecile room is large and very comfortable, and has a jacuzzi tub / shower. The hosts provided a map of local restaurants & business within walking distance (within 1 mile). We enjoyed our 10 minute walk to/from the Zivio restaurant (The menu is limited, but the food is very good). Our 1-night stay at the Leonard of Logan House was exceptional, and we rate it 10 out of 10, and we will be return again for other events in Grand Rapids or just passing through.

Nothing! We were very comfortable moving about the house, and felt welcome and appreciated by the hosts.

Leonard at Logan House is a beautiful place to stay. We were in town for a concert, as were most of the other residents and couldn't have picked a better place to rest. The hosts are amazing people and welcomed everyone with an honest warmth. The house is in beautiful condition and was immaculately clean. The breakfast was incredible both mornings, and not only were there different foods on each day, the variety put a lot of other big hotels to shame. Can't recommend enough and will definitely be staying here again whenever we're in the area. Thank you to everyone at Logan House!

That we had to leave.

Our room was comfortable and unique. We really enjoyed eating our breakfast in the garden, which was full of immaculately groomed flower gardens and loaded with color! Speaking of breakfast, it’s worth the trip with variety, flavor and freshness. We enjoyed the garden for relaxing after a day of touristing. It was nicely lit then. There is a whole floor of lovely rooms for relaxing inside, too. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and helpful, as well as being wonderful cooks.

A beautiful property in a gorgeous, quiet historic suburb of Grand Rapids. We had a very warm greeting from the hosts, a lovely room with a comfortable bed, and the breakfast!! 10/10 and the best french toast I've ever eaten. You can tell a lot of pride and care is taken with this house, and they do a first-rate job looking after their guests. If we're ever back in Grand Rapids we will stay here again, no question.

Nothing - I wish we'd stayed longer!

We enjoyed the beauty of the original furnishings of the home. All of it created a time of peace and solitude of an earlier time of Grand Rapids. The lovely garden just added to the beautiful ambience of the time. The proprietors were outgoing, gracious and very good cooks. The breakfasts were scrumptious and so filling. We will definitely return for another stay at The Leonard at Logan House!

Not a thing! It was perfect.

We were greeted by the owners, Ken and Ruth , and given a brief tour of the lovely home. It is in the Heritage Hills historic district. Our room, Sir Charles was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style and was incredible. It included so many delicious choices and we were glad you could choose portion size yourself instead of being served a full plate.Met other guests at breakfast from all over the world.

This place is awesome! It far exceeded my expectations. This is a very large historical Grand Rapids home and it is gorgeous! The amenities, hospitality and location couldn't have been more perfect for our weekend getaway. Our room was nice and clean with a very comfortable bed. They have an outdoor patio/garden section that is simply beautiful. The breakfast was spectacular, an excellent beginning to each day we stayed! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We never had a need go unmet and our hosts were quite friendly and fun. There was information in our rooms about popular places to eat and visit during our stay. Leonard at Logan house is very close to the downtown area, and in an area with many great options to choose from to eat and shop!

Everything about our stay was wonderful!

The location is close to a lot of attractions and we were close to Van Andel Arena where we were going to attend a concert! The owners were friendly and didn't hesitate to help with any questions or dietary needs. They gave us information on local spots to visit, and they made us feel at home. The garden is beautiful ❤️ The house is a historic gem! Quiet too!

Everything was great!

We loved everything about our stay at Leonard House. The hosts were very friendly and informative. The breakfasts were amazing. The food was so delicious and so beautifully presented. We enjoyed so many of the wonderful amenities like snacks and drinks available at all hours, lots of places to relax and enjoy the lovely surroundings, a great spacious room and bathroom, and information about the area in our room and downstairs. The house is in such a fabulous area and we loved being able to walk to shops and restaurants.
