location was great, staff was friendly and willing to accommodate needs.

Air conditioning in the room didn’t work very well. there was no trash cans in our room and a couple of the pillow cases were dirty.

From the time we arrived at the smiling faces of the crew, to the time we left, we enjoyed our stay there. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. There was a wide variation of foods to choose from and it all tasted great. My husband kept going back for more. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked so well that we had to turn it to where it would cut off in this Mississippi heat wave. The only thing I would add is bring your own pillow if you like fluffy pillows. They give you two really great pillows, which is good. But they do go flat quick but they are a lot better than any other places I have ever stayed in.

I wish I had more time to stay there. We only came for the weekend of the comic convention but the room was so great that it made us want to stay more. Alas we had to go home when it was all over.

The facility is great. Always clean and the rooms are big and comfortable.

We had no hot water in our room. We called the front desk to report it and they offered to give us another room. However we called the other couple that we came with who were on the same floor as us. They also had no hot water. Reported that to the front desk and we were told that they could not help us. I was disappointed in the response. Was hoping they could call a maintenance person to look into the situation but that wasn't offered.

Once we got into the room, everything was good.

When we arrived late... ate midnight, we were given a room with one king bed and one pull out sofa bed. I went ball down and explained this to the front desk person and she asked if I wanted a double room. I explained that I had reserved the king bed and two sofa beds because there after 5 of us. She had to go looking through the hotel to find that room. Once she did, she gave us keys and asked if we would need linens for the sofa bed. I said yes, and she gave us sheets. Had to ask for comforters and pillows. She was nice, I just don't think she was knowledgeable. Once we finally got settled, everything was nice.

We were in town due to my granddaughter having surgery Monday. We checked in Sunday afternoon. The manager asked what brought us to town? I told him. He asked what time we would have to be at the hospital. I told him we had to be there at 6:30 a.m. He said that is when they usually started serving breakfast. But, he would make sure that we got coffee and muffins to take with us when we left. Sure enough, next morning, his staff had coffee made and was VERY cordial and attentive to us. We had piping hot coffee, muffins and even some for later to take with us. I greatly appreciate their kindness and hospitality. I can definitely see considering them if we have need to stay overnight again.

I didn't like the fact that we did not get to experience the full breakfast menu. But, that was beyond the staff's control and ours. Maybe in the future we will. One thing with the room I found odd was that the sink and mirror was outside the bathroom. Therefore, you had to take care of business in bathroom and then go to sink and mirror. Therefore, all toiletries and what not were exposed when anyone walked in the door. Maybe this was done in case multiple people were staying and one needed to use bathroom while the other used sink and mirror. But, my daughter and I both thought that was strange. We have traveled a good bit. This was first time we have seen this setup.

The TV quit working and the lady at the front desk immediately came to try and fix it. When it stopped again she kindly switched me out to another room

I honestly liked everything about the hotel. The room had extra room! Microwave, Refrigerator, a big flat screen and more. I absolutely loved the breakfast! Other times, hotels may have an excellent breakfast, but I can’t never fully eat because I don’t eat pork! But this very considerate hotel had a choice of turkey sausages, which I was very blown away from!

I didn’t like the fact that we didn’t have a walk in shower, but bathroom still was clean!

Unfortunately, we have plumbing problems in the rental home we moved in, so we had to stay in a hotel for a week. Thankfully, we were able to get rooms at this hotel. The staff is awesome. Larry at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating. The price was great for two rooms and its pet friendly.

My kids say the breakfast could be aittle better, but overall it was edible. My daughter said the bacon was overcooked and the eggs were not good. I didn't eat the breakfast so i don't know.

We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jackson Downtown - Coliseum! When we checked in the gentleman behind the front desk suggested a great local place to eat (Iron Horse Restaurant) which we really enjoyed! The hotel was close to the highway, but didn't hear the traffic noise and the bed/room was very comfy! Larry was super helpful and extremely friendly, Thanks!

We didn't use the pool but it didn't look very "blue", however the next morning I did notice a "pool guy" was pulled up outside the hotel.

The room was clean and spacious.

The bathroom sink was clogged.
