So I will admit I was surprised. I mean, A its a Motel, B its a Motel in Montana with a Caribbean Theme... Really? Now all that trepidation aside I will say that this place is amazingly nice. Its clean, current and well maintained. We came in late and left early, never saw a soul our interacted with anyone but we could have definitely stayed a few nights. The rooms are great, spacious and clean clean clean. What is it with the obsession in NW Montana with Huckleberry!? anyways. Yes, stay here. It was great.

I like having an actual person there when you check in... but I know the way of the world is not going that way. Thats it... I have nothing else to say. Its was great.

The four of us loved the place! Excellent location, right across from the Raven restaurant with a tiny beach next to the place. Close to Bigfork and some great beaches/parks on the Flathead lake: - Yellow Bay / Flathead Lake State Park - Wayfarers / Flathead Lake State Park Close to OId Faithful Watersports (a great place to rent SUPs). The kids also liked the outdoor games located outside next to the sauna. After a day of hiking or swimming at the lake, it was nice to return to the Inn and play the games. (bags in the hole, etc.) The rooms very very cute (we occupied two separate rooms which worked nicely). One room had a wonderful kitchenette, the other had the basic kitchen items (fridge and a microwave) and was very stylish and cozy. I highly recommend the place and if we come back in the future, I will definitely book this place again! Thank you!

n/a :) Everything was great (one tiny thing, one night we could not start up the heater in the sauna but it was not a big deal).

My best friend and I stayed in the Bali unit and it was absolutely adorable! The kitchenette area was perfect, the Roku smart TV had an amazing selection of things to watch, the shower was hot and the bed I slept in (the one closer to the door) was seriously divine! The outside area was super cute, the location was perfect as it is right across the highway from the lake and the barrel sauna was amazing! We will definitely be staying here again!! 😄 Oh! I also got to meet and play with their German shepherd Freyja who was super cute! 🥰

There were a few cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, a dead bug on the ceiling and the fan was quite dusty as well..😅

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! I love the dog friendly atmosphere and overall comfort of the room! You can walk to a few restaurants easily and sit by the water! They have fire pits and a sauna for guest use as well! This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel/motel/air bnb!

I think it would be helpful to have assigned parking spots with lines on the ground for the rooms so other guests would know where to park! Not the fault of the property but some people just need help so others don’t have an issue parking! With that all said the parking isn’t bad and there is plenty of space as long as other guests only take up one spot!

The layout was perfect. Small kitchen with refrigerator was really handy. Bathroom and bedroom was decorated very well. Gave you the feeling you were on a Greek Isle. Parking was convenient to the bungalow. Restaurant across the street which was right on the water. Away from the highway so it was very quiet.

No ice in the ice machine. Never saw any employees.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cabins are large and comfortable. We liked being able to bbq and eat outside and have s’mores round the fire pit. Good choice of bars and restaurants nearby

It’s a shame the cooker hob had been removed but nothing else

Bigfork is a nice location, very picturesque and great little village. The property was quite, large room with many opening windows. The pub across the road on the lake has spectacular views and it’s accompanying restaurant next to The Islander had a tasty menu.

Smallish bed.

the smell from the person smoking next door was coming through my room. The lock on the door was broken and no one was available to call. I tried calling at one point and overheard someone in the back say “who the hell is calling me this late” Other than my experience, the actual place was great!

It was a perfect oasis for us after 10 days of tent camping and a day on the lake! the free bags of ice made our day so we could refill our cooler before a 16 hour drive home!

Beds were way too soft for me- my husband and I caved in on each other, but my personal preference is for a super firm bed so if someone else likes them soft, they're in luck!

Communication with us was great and proactive. Rooms was very clean and comfortable. Of the 8 nights we were in Montana, we stayed at 4 different hotels and The Islander had the most comfortable bed and pillows. We really liked it.

I wish we could have had more information on where we could go swimming or rent kayaks, paddleboards or jetskis.
