The location was beautiful! No matter what room you were in, you could easily see the lake from outside. It was quiet, relaxing, clean and the bed was super comfy. We also enjoyed our time in the saltwater pool overlooking the lake! We wanted to note and give a special thank you for when we got a flat tire... The owners were so kind to help us change our spare in the morning, then recommended a local tire shop for the rest of the repair. The little inconvenience in our trip felt very low-stress thanks to the help we received! :)

We had a terrific stay. The owner was cool and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised to find that we were staying in one of the cottages. I guess I didn't understand the room descriptions that well. Anyway, we stayed in one of the older cottages. The shower was a little low for my husband's height, but it didn't bother him. The owner told us that they were replacing the older cottages next year. The newer cottages will have taller showers. The cottage we stayed in was still great. It was extremely clean and very comfortable. It was pretty quiet the nights we stayed. The views were beautiful and the heated saltwater pool was lovely and clean. The resort was in a good location locally. The location also made it easy for us to explore other parts of the state. We'd stay here again. Thanks!

The owners were excellent. They were friendly, and available and made you feel like one of the family. We will definitely be staying here again. I travel a lot and this was an excellent experience and a great location. The price was very very good compared to places our friends were staying. The saltwater pool was very comfortable, the water was soft, the view was great and the Ice-cream/candy house was a one minute walk from the property.

Everything was great. My wife and I could not come up with anything that needs improvement.

The pool was absolutely lovely, view was wonderful, and the upgrades to cabin were exceptionally well thought out, even down to the light switches. Modern appliance, electric cooker, and grill made enjoying the space easy and very enjoyable. Deck was an amazing, relaxing space. Fellow guests were friendly (return annually).

Slept 5 adults wonderfully, though it is difficult to utilize resort space for an area to meet up and park for dinner, venturing to Weirs beach for our group event.

There was no breakfast, unfortunately, but there was room service daily, which is very unusual these days. The property is absolutely gorgeous with the lake and mountains almost in your backyard. Sitting on the huge porch of the owners' home was a huge plus as well. The view from there is to die for!

There wasn't much room to really unpack and put things away. I like counter space in a bathroom but there was none.

Loved the property, room had a kitchen and balcony patio with great views. The owners were very nice and always checked in to see if we needed anything. We were there at end of season but bet it's packed during the summer. Especially fun was the check in greeting from their two dogs Max and Lilly. It was a great home base for our day trips for 2 days. Would definitely stay again.

Loved everything

While the pictures online showed the beauty of the place, the actual stay exceeded our expectations! The room was one of the cleanest hotel/motel rooms we've stayed at... looks like it was renovated recently. The property was well maintained and had wonderful views of the lake. The pool was clean and relaxing to sit at. The owners were lovely and very accommodating and also very respectful of privacy. There were fireworks over the lake on Saturday night, and the owners and some guests were sitting outside around a fire watching which was nice. The location is great, only a few blocks away from Wiers beach and a handful of other great spots.

This was my first time staying at the grand view motel. Nice view and not far from weirs Beach.

personally I don’t think any smoking should be allowed not even on the balconies of the rooms. When you are upstairs sitting on your balcony and someone is smoking downstairs below right below you the smoke travels up to you and stinks. We had someone smoking just below us and it was nasty. We had to air out our room because every time we opened our door the smoke would go in. Should not have any smoking at all most places don’t anymore.

The location is simply spectacular. The room was super clean with all we needed, including microwave oven and fridge. A heated pool outside in the midst of magnificent view of the lake and the surrounding. We were supposed to take our old dog too, but unfortunately, he passed away last month. However, we were greeted by Max, one of the friendly dogs living there and he kept us good company.

Nothing. If I needed to pick one thing, I guess the TV remote wasn't working... not that we needed to watch TV.

Clover and Kirk were exceptional hosts and extremely friendly. The pool was great and the views were awesome! The cabin we stayed in was very clean and very comfortable! We definitely enjoyed our stay!
