The location of the hotel was great… right on the water… lots of chairs to lay back in and relax. Loved that there was a beach bar with food so we didn’t have to leave for dinner and we were able to sit at the table to have food and drinks while our kids continued to play while we watched them.

I wish I knew when I booked that our room would be on the second floor. We traveled with 3 kids (8,6 and an infant) and we had to carry an insane amount of stuff up to the second floor which included the constant up and down of a stroller. Also- I was unaware when booking that there was a back building across a busy street. I wish we had a room on the lake side, first floor. I guess we’d know for next time what to request.. you live you learn.

Breakfast should be included. Indoor pool was a little cloudy, but still wonderful. The room was very clean and comfortable, but could benefit from a microwave. The location was perfect. So many amenities it definitely made the stay enjoyable. We really loved everything the resort had to offer.

Not much we didn't like it really was a fantastic stay. The food wasn't great our 1st night, but they did have a double wedding and things were a bit crazy. After the weekend the food was much better. We even extended and stayed an extra night. They do an amazing job making it family friendly and offering a lot of activities for the children.

Close to the water. Front desk agent was nice and quick for checkin. Room needs some upgrades but was comfortable and clean.. Would possibly look into for a wedding

Game room & bar was closed. Very small Tv. Wish sliding glass door opened for fresh air, ac was kind of loud. Fireworks was posted to start at 10:00PM and started at like 9:45 went to the store would of had time and missed the fireworks because they started early was disappointed was one of the reasons we was staying at the resort.

The grounds were well kept. Lake view was beautiful. Was very clean and kept up around whole resort not just lobby like alot of them. The under ground walk way was very nice from building to lobby area to avoid the rain very useful. Staff were always smiling

I didn't like that I had to go to bar to get scanned menu to order food then wait there standing until came. And the drinks on menu say 12$ but on recipient said 14$. But setting outside was beautiful though .

The staff was exceptionally friendly which I always appreciate! Great location with conveniences nearby.

Overall our room was clean however I found hair in the drawers which Grossed me out. Overall it was a nice experience but two pricey for the entire experience. So with that probably won't stay there again.

Everything was great! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had a beautiful lake view to enjoy.

Wall mounted hair dryer seemed to be a fire hazard it began smelling of smoke when we tried to use it which wasn’t a huge deal. Also maybe have building doors locked with card key as well as rooms so not just anyone can roam around. Also could have used a spare comforter or blanket sheets and blanket on bed were thin.

The location is great! The lake front swimming area is very nice. The staff on check-in was very pleasant

Our room was across the street at the Inn. It was so far from everything. The street is very busy and dangerous to cross with no crosswalk . Drinks were pricey. I would stay again but would not stay across the street at the Inn.

We loved the location! The room, although a little dated, was very clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable! The staff was very friendly, professional, and accommodating!

Television was small, but we were not there to watch TV. It was great to have the in room coffee and refrigerator, but a microwave in the room would be great.

This is our second stay at the Margate. This time we stayed in a different building! Super close to the venue Bank of NH pavilion. Room is decent sized, very clean! Would recommend for future stays. We will stay for our next show as well if able!

The location and views from our room were spectacular! We were never in the area before so took a chance on a higher end stay than we usually book when traveling. We were SO GLAD we did! There was a large wedding going on and I'm sure the staff was stretched but you would never have known. The room was very clean, toiletries and shower were above average. Overall the staff and facility have us planning a return trip to the area soon!

Not the Hotels fault, but COVIDS a hot Continental Breakfast would have been nice. The area has lots of options so it was a very minor issue.
