It was my first time staying at a B&B so I was surprised that no one was there to greet me when I got there ( like at a hotel ).. Because no one was there it was a little awkward trying to find my room but once I got settled in It was a very good experience. Everything was clean and the attention to detail was amazing. The breakfast was delicious and the owners were very friendly.

Not clear directions about where our room was.

The breakfast was satisfying and delicious. The grounds were beautiful, and it was clear that all the rooms at the Inn are well maintained and inviting . Our hosts, Kevin and Karen, were gracious and accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer! Look forward to returning in the future!

Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful, historic inn run by two gracious hosts. Comfortable beds, well stocked towels and toiletries. Enjoyed the breakfasts, especially the yummy yogurt and homemade granola and fresh baked bread. Loved the grounds and close proximity to Weirs Beach

Kevin and Karen, the Innkeepers, are exceptional hosts. They treated us like family. Morning breakfasts were outstanding and a highlight of our day. The property could not be more lovely and original. Meredith, where the Inn is located, is close to everything so it is ideal for your stay. My husband and I just can not say enough good things about the Nutmeg Inn and Kevin and Karen. We urge you to stay there if you travel to New Hampshire.

Everything was perfect. It all exceeded our expectations.

This is possibly the best B & B I have ever stayed in! First, the new owners are wonderful. They give you a tour of the amazing home and you learn some its incredible history (wow!). They are so friendly and welcoming, I cannot imagine staying anywhere else. It is worth planning a trip to the area JUST to stay at this house. There is a beautiful huge landscaped yard, a pool, a hammock, a pool table, and so many other sweet places to hang out. The beds seem new and are just so perfect, and the breakfasts are soooo good. There are complimentary drinks and snacks. Staying in a house built in 1763 in itself is special, but this is a place to treasure.

Kevin and Karen were friendly exceptional hosts.The grounds and pool were amazing only complaint was bed was to soft for our liking.We could not have asked for a better place for our stay once again Karen and Kevin are outstanding.

We like a firmer bed besides that perfect vacation

Room is cramped, shower too small almost claustrophobic, too stingy with bath essentials- given one shampoo, conditioner, lotion for three people for two day stay

excellent B&B in a property dating from 1760’s situated in beautiful gardens & pool area.. welcoming host, together with a nice breakfast all made for a pleasant stay.

The location was within a few minutes of lake Winnipesaukee, restaurants and attractions. The inn is filled with history and the Innkeeper's Karen and Kevin were a delight! Breakfast was filling and so delicious each morning Kevin makes homemade sourdough bread. It is a must stay if you are in the area and LOVE the feel of historic Inn`s.

I haven't a single complaint as our stay was filled with memories.

The Nutmeg in is the most exceptional Bed and Breakfast we’ve ever had the pleasure to stay at, and innkeepers Kevin and Karen are are wonderful! They made our stay a joy and we hated to leave. Between the beauty and charm of the inn and gardens and the care and attention of the hosts this is an opportunity to experience an unparalleled stay in a perfect location.

For us the only drawback was the gravel driveway and parking are-we were there for the Laconia bike rally and gravel is tricky with a bike but had we been in a car it would have been no issue.
