Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel

Right off the highway.

Upon arrival dirty towel hanging in bathroom, queen sheets with holes in them on king bed, as well as queen blanket on king bed. No tv remote in room, dust all over window ledge. while room was pretty, the tv is too far away from bed and the “kitchen” chairs are definitely not comfortable to sit in for long. there were no comfortable places to sit in the room other than on the bed. Due to lack of carpet/upholstered furniture, everything was echoing in the room. Key card for parking did not work, had to call hotel twice from across street to get someone to come let us and another car out of lot.

Breakfast was delicious and great for the price. Location could not have been any more perfect as it was only a few short steps to all the downtown shops and restaurants! Front desk staff were super friendly and welcoming as were the wait staff in restaurant! Premises both indoor and outside were very clean and the restaurant and bar area were splendid !!!

Website could have let us know they were in process of renovations….otherwise everything was excellent

The room i had was great! The bed was super comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and very welcoming. Although no coffee maker in the room, im assuming because of the virus, 2 bottles of water were supplied in the room. A quick trip down the elevator in the morning and freshly brewed coffee and a hot breakfast was available. A text to the valet and my car was waiting for me at the front door all warmed up. Much appreciated on a frigid February morning

The virus. The pandemic has changed a few things, but to no fault of the hotel or staff

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and check in was easy. Everyone was very friendly. The gym is a little small for the size of the hotel, but the equipment was new and well maintained. The pool area was also very nice.

We were in a newly- renovated room but it was a long walk to the elevator. Surprised there weren’t more elevators.

Parking w fee and tip was too expensive. Bar area seemed too small. Tried a couple of times to go there for drinks but were unable to do so.

I was surprised to see so many dogs allowed to be kept in rooms. My husband has asthma and cannot be in a room that has pet dander - even when cleaned. Luckily he was not bothered but we should have been warned.

I wasn’t informed at time of booking or check in of property construction, maintenance in process. sitting at bar would have been more pleasant if it wasn’t so cold, staff from front entryway was unimaginable

location, new clean decor (recently updated. I liked that the rooms were not wall to wall carpeting, it made the air feel cleaner.

proposes beautiful, but with the cost of stay, breakfast should be included.

The room was very updated and modern and the staff was absolutely wonderful.

We didn't get any directions as far as where to park since we decided to self park instead of valet. We eventually found it though so it wasn't a big deal.

Friendly staff, clean comfortable room.

Rooms had no sound muffling. Could hear everything outside the room.
