Very nicely renovated, especially the pool area, which has a view of the ocean. It’s great that the parking was moved away from the entrance to the rooms.

Prior to staying at the property I got into a contentious conversation with a staff member about the parking fee $29, which I understand is only charged when one books on 3rd party apps such as booking.com. I found notice of this charge to be ‘buried’, and unexpected since the property is not on mass transit. She did refund the parking fee. There was also a $29 cleaning fee which we did pay. This was all on a $249/day motel room. Just tell us what it costs, without added fees.

Love love love the decor, I’m a mid century modern girl so the amenities give me a sense of stepping back in time. Every detail has been thoughtfully applied at this destination from the appliances to the hygiene products provided. The room sizes are quite large and very clean. We found everything we needed in the full kitchen. Love the quiet location, yet centrality to busier areas. We so appreciate the quiet respectful atmosphere of this place. There have been other places we traditionally stayed at, but have noted a trend of disrespectful noisy behavior from cotravelers. We have NEVER experienced this at any of the places these owners offer. (Their place in New Castle is equally delightful). You are literally across the road from a rocky shoreline. The pool and pool area are 1950s elegant. Overall an excellent experience. We’re repeat travelers to this destination.

Only suggestion would be maybe organic non gmo snacks in the snack cart. Otherwise no complaints.

I, not knowing that there was a second email that stated the room number, got to the premises thinking there would be someone at an office. I didn't get good service on my phone to check emails. There was another couple who had gone through this right before I got there and also didn't know about the second email with the room number in it. If not for them, I would have not known any of this. My partner has no patience and he was a little mad at me for not knowing the information. No staff to ask on-premises. Called the number after finding service and didn't get a call back until a little later. Also had to drive where I could get service and check my email for the room number. Made the beginning unpleasant but the stay was great.

We dug the very cute retro feel with attention to details, and the location was fantastic!

We didn't feel particularly safe in our room, despite the area being safe. The doors to the room felt very flimsy and the locks very basic. It basically felt like anyone could easily kick the door in or get or pick the lock with little effort, and that's not a good feeling when you're at a hotel off the beaten path.

Absolutely refreshing. Tge entire biking process was seamless. Our host were in constant contact. The bungalow was wonderful. immaculate, inviting and mostly a well needed respite

Honestly nothing. Only exception would be to have met hosts in person to express our appreciation. Certain turns of life pop up and an unscheduled trek for a night of relaxation and quiet needed…and Provided. thank u

This is a GREAT place to have an adult get away. All furnishings were modern and clean! A mini-bar awaits you in your room with basic staples from cold waters and sodas to Champagne, assorted ipas, and wine :) The room is very spacious and we were allowed to bring our pooch which was a nice touch! Hampton beaches are right down the road OR you can go inland to Portsmouth NH for some great dining.

There was no breakfast but the coffee was great The decor was fun and nostalgic. Plenty of space. Extremely clean. Very comfy bed. We loved being able to walk across the street for a beach walk. Great and prompt communication with proprietors.

Would have been nice to say hey face to face with owners. (They seemed very nice via email). But their communication via email was very good.

This hotel is a gem! white glove clean and decorated to perfection with little touches I wouldn't expect in a hotel. And, the pool is the best!!!!

The ocean is not visible without walking over the berm. The beach area is just down the road.

Great decor- well executed. Cute, lovely room- extremely clean- and I'm a neatnik! Well stocked kitchenette. Decent water pressure with good temperatures. Uber comfy bed/pillows.

No 2nd day of coffee! Otherwise, perfect stay.

Style of rooms was great and super clean. Kitchen has all needed to make a wonderful breakfast

The beach across the street was not exactly as I thought. Too rocky to walk onto. Picture on bookings alittle deceiving.
