This was a great place for going back and forth to historic sites in Philadelphia! Far enough away from the crowds and crazy highways, but not a long drive to get anywhere. Not until you get to the Ben Franklin Bridge and the Philly side. Reviews of the town said it was safe, and we never saw any reason to doubt that. The hotel was interesting -- loooong hallways -- but it made it fun and interesting. And great artwork of historic Philly everywhere. Beds and pillows were super comfortable (why can't we take those pillows home?) ;) Staff was friendly and helpful. We were scheduled to stay 5 nights, but because of a family emergency, we had to leave before the last night -- the staff very graciously took the last night off of our bill. I know, technically they had to because of the cancellation policy, but it was nice to not have to argue about it, but instead to be shown compassion at a stressful time.

The breakfast was very good. I rarely eat scrambled eggs when I travel, but I decided to try scrambled eggs. I was pleasantly surprised because the eggs were tasty, and the sausage and potatoes cooked well. There is a wide selection of breakfast foods to choose from. The staff was friendly.

USB outlets should be placed in each room. I forgot my phone charger and thought my room would have a USB charger. I have to use the USB outlet in the lobby to charge my phone. This required that I wait in the lobby for my phone to charge up.

My second stay here, it didn't disappoint, every member of staff at the Best Western are wonderfully friendly people, the hotel has a very family feel about it, you are truly looked after. Breakfast is great, a good start to the day. Rooms are comfy & clean the bed is excellent. Lovely pool area. I look forward to my stay in December. Thanks again Mike for the wonderful service at your hotel.

That my stay wasn't longer and I had to leave. Nothing really that I didn't like about this hotel. No negatives about my stay.

It was clean.

The pillows made for an uncomfortable sleep. They were hard and way too large. It was like trying to sleep on a rolled up sleeping bag. I ended up getting up at 1a.m. to use my down jacket as a pillow. If you are going to have four pillows on a bed, can't two of them be thinner?? Your main job is to make a place for us to sleep, and sleep was not easy that night.

My go to place to stay when visiting my friends in New Jersey, Mike & his staff are awesome, great location to getting to Philly, very comfortable beds & rooms. I can't wait to return in Dec 2023

If you don't have a car not close to anywhere to eat, but a great breakfast is included in the room price and you have options to order in

The front desk staff were extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast had a great range of options and the room was very clean and spacious. Comfortable huge bed! The cleaners seem to work very hard.

The location doesn't really have much within walking distance in terms of shops. It's quite an office sort of area. But that's a small thing as the hotel itself is nice and meets all your needs. Plus it's set back from the road so traffic noise isn't an issue.

The staff at this hotel are lovely and kind. They made sure we had everything we needed and were happy to do it. The room was clean and spacious. Bonus: the breakfast was way better than I had anticipated lol

You definitely get what you pay for, the room itself was a bit run down but overall still comfortable and a good room for the cost

The breakfast was really good. The rooms were spacious and had a fridge. Workers were nice and I didn’t realize they had a pool but I’d definitely use it if I was to stay next time.

Plastic cutlery, cups etc are not environmentally friendly it would be so easy to go for sustainable options than plastic. This needs to change. Fridges in room plugged in with nothing in them again consuming energy for no reason and noisy as well no need for them

The staff was excellent and very friendly. Great breakfast and coffee and great location. It was extremely easy to get over to Lincoln Financial Field. Facilities were on the older side but incredibly clean and the room was spacious.
