Celebrated my 45th wedding anniversary and the hotel gave us a free upgrade to the executive suite. Too my surprise they kept their promise even through the reservation was made months in advance. The check in was flawless as Lorraine the receptionist met us with a friendly smile. She was very helpful and cheerful throughout our visit. When we had a problem with the toilet running, I called the front desk and within less than 5 minutes the maintenance supervisor arrived and access the situation. His name was Nacho and he got the part and repaired it within 10 minutes. He was very friendly and professional in his service. Made sure that their wasn’t any leaks before leaving. The swimming pool and hot tub were clean and presentable. Grounds were maintained and free of trash. The room was very comfortable and enjoyed the view of the mountains in the evening and the patio was clean. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Will recommend to my friends from Artesia, NM to visit.

In the shower it took a few minutes for the water to get hot. Not a game changer. The older waitress in the grill/bar wasn’t a friendly type person. Took the order but not conversational. The older man that had a limp was just the opposite, he was very friendly. The food was very good a little bit on the expensive side but it was plentiful and very filling. Music was also good.

The location was great on the main road in Taos. The restaurant was convenient, the place was very beautiful and in typical Taos pueblo decorations. The studio room was super spacious and had all of the amenities we could ask for. The pool was nice and cold and the hot tub was nice and hot. I enjoyed the restaurant and the views from the restaurant. The staff was super friendly and genuinely friendly. I appreciated the ice machine and vending machine and the dining/ lounge area in the lobby. I would 100% return

The location of sagebrush was perfect. It was very quiet surrounding. The grounds were lit up nicely.

We did have some bugs in our room, bed was extremely hard, carpet was nasty, A/C didn’t work that good, the tv remote needed new batteries and the outlets (all outlets) didn’t work. It made it hard to charge phones and iPads. We charged our phones and iPads in the vehicle. The staff at the restaurant didn’t want to do their job. We walked in the waitress didn’t want to acknowledge us. We finally got to order some tea and she never brought it. She cleaned tables instead. We walked out.

All your staff were extremely nice to include your grounds maintenance. The bed room was very comfortable. Once I layed down it was goodnight for me. The bed was extremely comfortable. I have to say without a doubt this was one of the best hotel/motel I have stayed in. On behalf of our coworkers thank you. I look forward to many more trips here.

I would like to have half BBQ wings and half hot wings in the restaurant. The server didn't even entertain the idea. Also the hot water in the sink was extremely hot and the hot water in the shower will get hot the Luke warm. Over all I was pleased to have somewhere to lay down and rest after a good long day of work.

The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Next time we will definitely get a room with a fireplace. This is not like typical hotel rooms. Loved the veranda. You don't feel closed in yet you feel very safe.

Love the coziness of the bar and live music. My only negative was the waitress in the bar. She was efficient but not friendly at all. Additionally, watch your check, she adds gratuity even though we only had three people, and charged us for a drink we never received. She was there all the nights we stayed so we didn't go back to the bar our last night.

We were greeted quickly and efficiently, dinner at the motel restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. The room was spacious.

We were surprised with a free upgrade to a Jr suite which seemed good to start with but with 4 adults in the room, we had 1 bedroom and a sitting room that had a Murphy bed that wasn’t so comfortable. Our head was angled down and that isn’t comfortable or good for you! It would have been better with the regular room with 2 queen beds for that price. There were no extra blankets or anything and the pillows on the Murphy bed were about 12” square! Don’t upgrade for a lesser product! With only 2 people it would be an upgrade!

We stayed in the old part of the hotel. It had the pool which was a plus. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Really outstanding customer service by Daniel, Melanie and the Poolman. They treated us as if we were the only guests and they were there just for us. Truly outstanding service.

No elevators, be aware. Try to get a room on the ground floor if that is an issue.

We didn't do much but stay in our room. We had been on the road all day and had a full day on the road the following day and we just wanted to rest. We appreciated the courtyard setting and we appreciated the table and chairs outside our room where we could sit, drink our coffee, etc. We walked around the grounds and we were astounded at the size of the place! Really beautiful. I lived in Taos in the early 90's and remembered going to the Sagebrush Inn to socialize with friends and listen to music. I remembered that it was a nice place. That is the reason I booked a room there.

Can't think of anything negative that stands out. The room was clean and well-kept and comfortable. The only thing negative had nothing to do with the room. It was the fact that it was on the wrong side of Taos as far as our destination, which was Denver, and therefore it was kind of a hassle in the morning getting out of town.

The heated, outdoor pool and hot tub were nice. Easy to find and the staff were mostly friendly (house keeping and maintenance weren’t as helpful). The room was comfortable and spacious. They have several courtyards, a bocce ball and corn hole court, and nice areas to walk my dog so that she could do her business.

The restaurant is expensive so we avoided it. Housekeeping could do a better job, no attention to detail.

The people are great, especially in the restaurant. Very accommodating. The room is dated and could use some upgrading but is huge and for the price, was fine. Housekeeping only done on request but there were plenty of towels so we were fine. Breakfast not included but I always bring breakfast with me anyway.

Could use some upgrading and maintenance.
