The Blake at Taos Ski Valley

The Blake is nestled in the mountain. The views and river are spectacular. The bathroom in the rooms is spacious and stocked full of toiletries. It’s elegant without being pretentious. Valet was exceptional and I enjoyed the pro-dogs atmosphere.

The variety of food. There’s not enough options that are not so rich and heavy. There are also not enough places to get simple things like a muffin or burrito without such a fuss or wait.

Location of hotel was fabulous! Didn't realize how small the town actually was. It's tiny but had everything we needed. Loved the fireplace at bottom of slopes. We sat every day after skiing. Love the valet and free ski storage also the free airport and town transfers. Staff at the Blake was all very nice and always helpful.

A few more restaurant's or better hours would have been cool as it was limited. Even at the Blake food was good but limited menu. A continental breakfast would be awesome addition. We found Cid's market around corner nice for to go breakfast options or the smoothie shop.

Great location - the ambiance, decor, amenities were excellent. The staff was ultra responsive and friendly offering helpful tips. We loved the experience

The hot tub was not working the night we tried to use it. The restaurant / room service could have had more healthy options on the menu.

location on the mountain. loved having the ski valet right there and my ski boots warmed!

having to ask for pool/shower towels. restaurant hours were not good and prices were very high (especially for kids). hard to find anything to eat unless you’re ready to eat immediately after getting off the mountain

The view and spot on the mountain is perfect for a ski trip or summer visit. The location is perfect and has great access, as well as a underground parking garage. I loved the texting service for anything we needed. The cleanliness of the hotel and room was nice to come into. Service was top notch, checking in was easy as well as informative. Our dog was welcomed by everyone at the hotel and enjoyed the mountain with us. Big bathroom with two shower heads great after a day on the mountain. Nice king bedding and pillows with big tv and mini frig for relaxing. Having a drink on the balcony and enjoying the sunset or coffee and sunrise was perfect.

I think slippers would be a nice addition to amenities with the robs for winter guest. But nothing I didn’t like.

The hotel barthroom and view of room 413 are top notch walking distance and location are superb

Outside hot tub out of service asked for an additional night they book it themselves and charged more than booking.com that was kinda lame 😒

The property is situated at the base of the Taos Ski Valley. The views were spectacular and the sound of the flowing river was so peaceful. The rooms were spacious, bathrooms have a wonderful soaking tub and shower and a nice closet area.

There was nothing that I did not like about the property, but unfortunately, most of the restaurants were closed. That did not hamper our visit at all.

The location at the Blake was a perfect ski in, ski out. From the parking to the ski valet area to reception, the staff was very professional friendly and pleasant. We felt well taken care of. The food at the restaurant was very good as well. We would definitely stay there again!

The staff were attentive and very service focused. Really a pleasure with every interaction. With the COIVD rules in place, this certainly limited interactions, however the eagerness of those willing to do whatever they could to ensure the guests had the best possible time was at a high level.

The only improvements possible were out of the control of the staff, hotel etc. It would have been nice if more places were open so the apres ski was more enjoyable.
