Hampton Inn Taos

The breakfast was very legit. The location was good for access to both Angel Fire and Sipapu. Near some yummy restaurants. I especially recommend the bar across the street for live music. The room was nice and comfortable. Lots of premium channels on the TV.

The hot tub wasn't working. They said it was temporary. It was disappointing, though, since that was one of the main reasons I chose this place. Also, a missing light bulb when we arrived. A minor oversight, but hopefully not a trend.

Breakfast could have had a little more flavor - pool and hot tub out of service for two days out of our stay - laundry service was out of service (this was a major draw for booking our week long stay)

The front desk reception was wonderful. The rooms were large and clean. The pool was nice and warm. The residents of Taos were very welcoming. The hotel was very close to San Francisco de Asis where we attended Easter Sunday Mass.

Interestingly, Taos celebrated Easter with many businesses and restaurants closed for the day. The hotel provided sack breakfasts instead of the usual warm buffet. This day for the local families was a nice reminder of my past.

Very clean, check in staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good, and the proximity to Taos Ski Valley was good.

The lady I checked out with needs some guest service refresher training. She was somewhat rude when I told her I was paying cash. Made it seem like an inconvenience. Also, the ridiculous mask thing needs to go away. This is the only property I stayed at where anyone even said anything about wearing masks.

Enjoyed the great breakfast. The location is central to several ski areas. It is also near the Rio Grande river gorge.

Unfortunately the hot tub was out of service during our stay.

Nice sized room with lots of counter space to keep our stuff off the floor. Convenient location. Good breakfast within Covid limitations. Luggage cart available. The window could be opened. You don’t have to check in with the front desk if you’re willing to download their app and create a login. We didn’t do that though, and the staff were very friendly.

Covid restrictions are taken seriously here, and I’m glad for that, but I’ll be glad when we can serve our own breakfast portions again and eat in the breakfast room. They had an exercise room, but a sign on the door said you had to make an appointment with the front desk to use it.

I like the stay but I got charge twice for my room I dont know what going on

The fan in the bathroom didn't work and the fridge didn't work either and I got charged twice on my room

breakfast was good…appreciated the cottage cheese / yogurt option. various pastries, waffle machine, egg and kielbasa sausage one morning, something w egg and cheese on like an English muffin kind of thing

Great value as with all Hampton Inns — clean, comfortable, predictable, modern bathroom with large stall shower.

Parking lot could use some maintenance

Great room, super comfortable for a short stay. The WiFi also worked well. They were doing a great job with breakfast, getting people through the line as fast as possible. Staff was very friendly. Convenient location.
