Great, spacious cabins. Big living room with the most comfortable recliner and couch. I fell asleep in the recliner each night which I don't even do at home. Eagles Nest is beautiful and you have a great view of the mountains from the chairs on the porch. Plenty of parking right by the room. Close to town. In fact, I walked through town several times a day. Also, close to paths by the lake. Cool, retro green sink, tub and toilet. Fit in perfectly in the cabin. Eagles Nest Cafe, a five minute walk, has great green chili cheese burgers and is open most days in the morning to 2 pm.

Wish they'd had little kitchenettes. Not much open in Eagles Nest to get food. I brought frozen food from Trader Joes which fit well in the compact but spacious fridge provided.

I loved the ease of check in and out. The views were beautiful and the space was cute.

The bed was horrible. It was truly like sleeping on a wood table. Given that we really only used the facility for sleeping and a shower in the morning, we were not able to get the comfortable rest we needed. Also, the room had a musty smell and I worry it is from moisture.

Location was perfect in town ,room has a wonderful view. Five minutes to the lake boat ramp,five minutes the other direction to fishing the Cimarron canyon river. Easy walk to stores and restaurants. Great tackle shop!!

No outside fire pits or grill,or fish cleaning station.

This is a fantastic fishing location with the highest quality guides. The staff is fun to fish with and are fly fishing experts for the rivers and lakes of the area. Their advice improved my skill set. The owner treats you like an old friend. The room is comfortable, clean and reasonably priced.

The only thing that I would request is more light in the room. Higher lumen bulbs would be appreciated. All of the other amenities, furniture etc. were excellent.

Very clean and well-maintained room. Comfortable beds. Spacious seating area with Netflix on tap. Nice porch with good views. Quiet area, especially at night. Super easy and efficient check-in/check-out.

The hot water supply seemed to be a bit short at times. Getting the space heater situation sorted out the first night was tricky. Nearest food options are not great (Angel Fire and especially Red River have good restaurants and aren’t too far.)

Room was cozy. New carpeting!!! Staff was nice. Ski rental across the street was great. Only 15 minutes to Angel Fire and way less expensive. Great views. Right across the street from the lake.

Old food in my refrigerator. Bed was very loud.

The view from the living room it’s breathtaking. The property it’s very clean and comfortable and the room was ready way before check in. Got a text with the info to get in before the time

The location, staff everything was wonderful.

The only thing that needs fixing is the bed frame, it was very noisy, the slightest movement and the bed would sound like it's about to break. The mattress could use replacement as well.

Room was very clean and well decorated. Nice little place.

The living room and bedroom needs more lamp lighting. The only lighting in the living room was the over head light- it makes it hard to read without a shadow. Lamps in the bedroom were small and very dim..

Rustic with nice amenities... Serene and Peaceful... Perfect location for seeing the area... Great History... Turkeys, Elk, Deer, Bunnies... Great Stay!

Too many snowplows keeping the roads clear!! HAD TO LEAVE THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE! Nothing!
