Super 8 by Wyndham Taos

The property is just a few minutes from downtown. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I chose the room furthest away from the main road and it was quiet. Very friendly staff. And a bonus was the breakfast buffet that was included in the price.A nice start of the day!

The ice maker was broken and the hallway needed some cleaning. The room could use some hangers . The fridge needs to be checked, all my food that I put in the fridge, not freezer, was frozen the next morning.

Bed was comfortable. Staff were helpful but not overly outgoing. I had left in a hurry one day and my purse was still in the room I was suprised when I came back to see my door open with housekeepers tidying up my room. It was nice and they were super helpful but I guess I wasn't expecting it. Would have been nice to be told upon arrival.

Breakfast options. I don't expect eggs but a choice of a muffin or fresh fruit would be nice

They claim to have free Wi-Fi, but the Wi-Fi actually didn't work at night at all. Both nights that I stayed there there was no Wi-Fi for hours and hours. When I asked the staff if this was a normal occurrence, they said yes. They know that they have inferior Wi-Fi but are using it as a marketing tool.

Convenient location on Paseo del Pueblo sur just south of its junction with 585. This section of the Paseo is not under construction and traffic flows easily and quickly. Motel was within walking distance of a couple of good Mexican restaurants serving excellent New Mexico chilis. Room was clean, comfortable and good space for stretching out.

Air conditioning was turned off upon arrival. It took the AC unit turned on at maximum cooling until about 2 A.M. to fully cool the room down. Pillows were inconsistent in size and firmness and were not all that comfortable.

The location is pretty good. It’s situated on the main drag, on the south side of town, allowing for easy access to the area. The beds were comfortable. The a/c worked well. The staff were friendly.

The hotel is begging to show signs of wear - nothing major, just slightly noticeable. The staff, while nice and helpful, seem very overworked. Checking in and seeking assistance at the front desk resulted in long waits. All in all, it’s a pretty good place and a good value.

Nice room and good bath .ok beds.

Bedspreads were severely outdated and stained. Tub and surround were extremely slippery Be careful because if you slip on tub surface, the walls won't help catch you.

Lack of elevator - yet the ramp to ground floor helped a lot

Room very clean and comfortable. Very quiet. A bit outside of the center of Taos itself but not a problem. Good choice for breakfast……yoghurt, fruit, cereals, waffles, toast.

Didn't care for what they had never enough coffee but all in all was a great stay. ..

Met and greeted by very friendly and helpful staff member. Did like the fact that the room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Also, appreciated the fact that the fridge had a freezer compartment.

Could hear tenant above, below or next door (unsure) but they were occasionally loud especially before going to bed or waking up in the morning. Wish breakfast had been available.
