Big room for a borough hotel. Very clean. Quiet except for traffic noise (expected) but with continuous fan, it wasn't a problem (and I'm a light sleeper). Walkable to Park Slope and multiple subways. Free parking was a HUGE bonus.

This is nit picky but the way the buttons on the elevator are lit up blue with the theme, it's hard to tell when you've pressed them and I often would think I had and then realize when the elevator didn't come, that I hadn't. Also, the shower water got everywhere because there was not even a slight lip on the shower to contain the splash.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very professional and friendly. We asked for extra towels, coffee, and conditioner and they brought these items to our room very quickly. I love that every room has a fridge, too. The parking lot is very small, but we had no issues getting a spot for the night. We checked in early in the day though, so that might have been why it was easier to secure a spot. I chose this particular hotel because it was really close to the F train, and I am so glad I did. The station is only about 2 blocks away and even as a single woman taking the train back to Brooklyn from Manhattan later in the evening, I felt perfectly safe. I also love the neighborhood. Just one block away is a great strip of cute shops and restaurants.

Most hotels ask for a card to keep on file for incidentals, but this hotel puts a $100 hold on your card, which was quite a surprise (it was in the small print but I overlooked it). My child and I were looking for a short getaway on a shoestring budget and that $100 cut into our plans significantly. Shame on me for not noticing that in advance—lesson learned. Regardless, I would stay here again.

They have free parking (first come/first serve). They have limited spaces (which I was told), but there were several spaces available, so the chances seem good if you drive there. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Front staff very nice. Price was good, neighborhood very nice. Lots of great places to eat within a couple of blocks.

The A/C & Heat unit was located on one side at the head of the bed. I didn't mind it, but it did blow air on your upper body, and no way to point it somewhere else. Don't know if all rooms were like that, or just this one. Not a dealbreaker for me.

The shower! The balcony! The spaciousness! The staff! Nearness to subway!

Bed was so hard in spots i was pained in the morning. Literally the only complaint. OH! And the doors to the rooms are hard to close consistently. I came back to my room door open 2 times. I know it was because I didn’t close the door hard enough/carefully, and nothing was awry, but It was alarming….

Rooms are great. Good size, comfy bed, great shower. Nice views of Downtown Brooklyn.

No breakfast. Crappy location. 4th ave is pretty downmarket with demolished buildings one side and U Haul depot the other. Not as nice as five years ago.

Everything is very clean, the staff is very helpful, quick and friendly. Over all very enjoyable experience, would recommend you stay here if you want to be close to the city and in a great location in Brooklyn.

I didn't like that the terrace doesn't face anything on one side of the building. AC could have also been in better condition. It was missing some buttons, like they were rubbed out. Other than that the room was great.

Location was perfect for the event we were in the city to attend. Rooms were very clean. Proximity to train station and amenities was great.

Bathroom door was opaque glass that was too showing when sharing the room with another couple as it was a double double configuration. Multiple times during a 5 day visit our key cards stopped working and had to be reissued.

The room was clean, airy and comfortable! The bed was completely clean and comfortable. I had a high floor and the view was very nice!!!! The air conditioner was working and the room very cool!!!! Loved the bathroom, plenty of hot water!!!!

No breakfast available like they used to have, that use to be a plus for this hotel!!!! There were no robes or slippers. The bathroom door was hard to pull at times. Limited amount of toiletries. No glasses to drink from, no plastic cups. Only two paper cups for coffee.

Hotel was very clean, spacious room and modern with nice shower room. Had a small balcony but no furniture on it. Decent view and included mini fridge, coffee maker, good TV and good storage. No facilities outside room like a restaurant or cafe but reception staff were always there and helpful Location was OK, 5 minute walk to places for cafes and places for breakfast, but we bought juice and fresh fruit and kept it in the fridge to have something first thing.

Niggles - some milk or creamer as well as real sugar (rather than sweeteners) for the coffee machine as I wanted a coffee but could only make black as far as I could tell. If the pods had that included, I didn't spot that on them.

The location was excellent and the room was lovely although there were a few things advertised in the details which were not actually there!- bath robes, slippers, seats on balcony.

The staff, whilst friendly, were not really that helpful. when we arrived, we were missing towels and it took 3 phone calls and two visits to reception and a time frame of four hours (we got fed up waiting and went out!) to finally get them when we returned from our night out and said we would pick them up ourselves from housekeeping! in addition, even though we were there 4 nights, our room wasn’t cleaned once!! our coffee and toiletries obviously weren’t replaced either so we were rather disappointed by the general lack of service.
