not sure why it has so many bad google reviews! location is great, staff are helpful if you ask nicely if you need something. The room was spacious enough and I had really nice views from the 22nd floor. Big flatscreen TV was great! I was too busy to enjoy New York to check out the gym or rooftop though so I can only tell you that the room was good, lobby was nice (loved the tortoise statues and the pink couch that was very comfortable) and the hallways are nice too.

the lifts are very old and not fancy at all BUT you probably don’t book a hotel based on how fancy the lifts are. At least I don’t.

close to everything I needed while I was in town

the ac was not working in my unit from Monday night until 6am on Thursday my checkout day. called about it and was told that the hvac was down in parts of the building. was asked if I was willing to move and said if that’s the only option then let me know now because I was at a work conference until late. didn’t hear anything else about it from anyone. people that were attending the same work event as me had the same issue. think I also had pick a view of the city but my view was of the construction lot across the street

We regularly stay at this hotel when visiting children who live in Brooklyn. The hotel is centrally located, has easy access to subway lines, and provides a good, solid hotel choice for us.

Our room on the 24th floor, was too close to the rooftop club just above the 25th floor, and the loud music featured in that club went on well past midnight. Also, the breakfast operation (run by a contractor on the first floor) makes an effort, but falls short of what one would expect at a quality hotel. All paper plates and cups, weak help, not even a trash container in which customers can deposit said paper plates and cups. Clear choice to walk around the corner for other choices.

The hotel location is great, lots of shops and restaurants nearby, close to the subway mainlines, makes it easy to travel around NYC. The room was nice and cosy, the bed was really comfortable and provide good night sleep. Good level of cleanliness overall. We appreciated the coffee in the morning in our bedroom, large TV and well equipped bathroom.

We had an issue with the room lock, the card was not opening, I had to go down to the reception twice and the third time we used the phone in the corridor to call. The staff quickly sent the engineer to attend, the door lock system was broken and had to be fixed, the good poit was that we had another room provided promptly. It has however taken us about 1 hour to sort things out and it has impacted our plan for the rest of the day, as a kind gesture we have been allowed a late check out on our last day. Good effort from the hotel staff which has been appreciated.

We recently stayed at Brooklyn New York and had a great experience. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to the subway, making it easy to get around the city. There are plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable.

There were just a few negatives to our stay. The lobby had an odd smell that wasn't very inviting. We also had some technical issues with our room like the AC fan and a broken fire alarm. The fan was fixed quickly but the fire alarm wasn't replaced during our stay. Despite these negatives we still had an overall nice stay and would recommend it to others.

I loved the location.. it was close to shops and a large selection of food. It was an easy walk to Brooklyn bridge.

The room didn't have a mini fridge.

The hotel is near Fulton Mall and close to shops, food/restaurants, and the metro station. You can get anywhere from here without walking too far!

No parking facility for out of state folks.

The elevators were a challenge because of volume and the difficulty in getting the room cards read in them in order to operate. Also, there was no access to the pool that was advertised.

The staff made us feel very welcome, especially Julie at breakfast. The room was very clean and a good size. The bathroom was very pleasant. The lobby staff went out of their way to make our family feel as comfortable as possible in the accommodation. Many thanks to all!

It's a bit of a shame that there's a swimming pool in the building that is not accessible to guests. On the other hand, there is a well-equipped fitness room which is easily accessible.

We got there earlier than 10am and I asked if the rooms were ready she said one room was ready but had to pay $50 for earlier check inn I got charged for it and she told she was gonna called me when it was ready we went to get breakfast and walk around by then it was 1pm I called and show up I told the same lady "you charged me already for an early check inn for a room and is not ready she said she had already gave me the room and key,, why will I be waiting in the lobby for the room to be ready. They charged be $50 extra for a room that never got in early but she didn't know what happened 😒 so we got 1 room out of the 3 we went to times Square then called again about the other 2, now another person was in the front desk and when I asked if the rooms he say they were always ready he didn't understand why they were not giving to us before 🤣🤣 I couldn't believe it but I guess any body can have a bad day at work..
