Beautiful hotel, with rustic and comfortable shared areas. Rooms were basic, but clean and comfortable. Nice, cold AC and plenty of hot water. Lobby and breakfast area really gave the "Adirondack" feel, nice outdoor decks and chairs. Great location right at the foot of Main Street a d right across the street from Olympic museum, ice rink and speed skating oval. Y

Nothing that we did not like. A really enjoyable stay overall.

Breakfast was an elaborate continental breakfast:scrambeld eggs or cheese omelet bacon juice coffee,muffins, bagels etc. room was extremely clean and very spacious. The motel is situated across the olympic buildings at the beginnings of the city of Lake Placid

The weather was a bit disappointing but nobody has control over that . We used the swimming pool and the jacuzzi on the premises and went out in the afternoon under a small drizzel (nothing to worry about

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was on the ground floor where we could park outside our door which was wonderful in consideration of my limited mobility. We arrived early in the day and we were a little travel weary so we decided to take a chance and check to see if our room was ready. The Desk Clerk was great - understanding, considerate, courteous and friendly. Our room was ready so he checked us in and we were able to rest a bit and re-energize for our Lake Placid visit.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The common areas were wonderful for our large group. We traveled up with our town hockey team and everyone was able to get together in the common areas for some quality team/family time. Breakfast was great as well.

They still were using the Covid protocols of not cleaning rooms while the same guests were in. We didn't mind that so much, but wish someone came to replace things like tissues/take out the trash, etc.

Location is Fantastic. Rooms are nice and have a lot of space. We loved the heated pool and spa. And breakfast was surprisingly good.

Our room wasn’t cleaned once during the 4-day stay. We had to hunt for more towels

This was our second time here. The room and hotel in general were very clean. Great location with easy walking access to downtown Lake Placid. We used the pool which was really nice and the breakfast was delicious in cozy atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Rooms comfy and pretty spacious. Breakfast descent, with a variety of options. Location is perfect, and parking is abundant.

They are currently understaffed, so no house keeping services, which is a little bummer. AC very noisy!! Other than that, no complaints. It is very pricy in my opinion, but i guess placid lake is an expensive location.

The staff at this hotel couldn't have been nicer. Every single person treated our family like gold. Additionally, the hotel is in a great location, offers breakfast and has every amenity you could want.

The location and the views were excellent. Staff was helpful and very friendly.

Facilities overall are outdated. The rooms and common areas are clearly in need of some TLC.

Staff was great and I feel like every time I walked in someone was cleaning something. Very clean. Kitchen staff was very attentive and the free breakfast was great! Can’t beat the location for the winter activities offered in the village.

Rooms are a little dated and TV guide shstem didn’t seem to work well.
