Tru by Hilton Syracuse North Airport Area

Everything was sparkling clean! This was very important to me as I've not traveled much since the pandemic so I wanted super clean, and I got it. I loved the fitness room. There was a good variety of resources and it was all in excellent condition. I used the room twice. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was perfect. The free breakfast was plentiful and quite good. Everything was top notch.

I paid a fortune for the room and I imagine it was because it was the Paul McCartney weekend. I cancelled a reservation elsewhere at the last minute in order to book at Hilton, and I paid dearly for it at $588 for 2 nights, before taxes and fees. When I was checking out I perused the website and saw that the standard rate was $118, or $236 for 2 nights. So I don't know how much of the upcharge was due to McCartney and how much of the upcharge was due to it being a late booking. In any event, I wouldn't have minded twice the price but I paid a lot more than that.

Room was very comfortable. Bed/pillows were great. Breakfast was very nice. Hotel arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport since our flight arrived at midnight (which was after the shuttle they operate ended).

Person who checked us in was in a tizzy. We had booked a king bed - and they did not have a king bed for us - we had to settle for a room with two queens. We waited 20 minutes in the lobby while the clerk fiddled with the computer, looked for a room etc. before getting our keys. At 1 am - that was a little much for 2 tired travelers!

The host was great and found some extra pillows for us. Breakfast was wonderful! The hotel was quiet, clean, & comfortable!

Only 3 pillows per bed (would prefer 4, 2 per person), Not enough counter space (for playing a game, eating, setting out medicine), would have liked a 2nd chair in the room (the kids fight over the 1 chair), and there was not a working fan in the bathroom.

Perfect for a quick night away, clean, comfortable. Really enjoyed keyless checkin

Housekeeper walked into our room without knocking before we checked out. Check in took over 15 minutes.

Love that this hotel is so close to the airport. It is modern and clean.

This was our second visit to this hotel. We will be going back in a few weeks. We stay here when we visit our son who is based at Ft. Drum. This last visit was a little bumpy in that in the four days we stayed there we could not get our room to be cleaned. I requested the room to be cleaned twice and it was not done. They are low staffed and I understood the first time it wasn’t cleaned but the second time I asked for the room to be cleaned it didn’t happen again. We will see how this third trip goes. I really enjoy everything else about this hotel.

The location was great. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was kind and cheerful. There were a lot of options at breakfast. I appreciated that there was tea available 24/7 as well as the filtered water to refill water bottles!

The sound of the television in the next room bled into my room well past midnight and in order to sleep I resorted to turning the air up high so that it would steadily drown out the noise.

I appreciated the cleanliness, quiet, and comfort. A comfortable mattress, sheets, and pillows are so important when you need a good night's sleep because you are traveling. What caused me to choose Tru was the fact that they had rooms with two queen sized beds. I was traveling with my two teenaged sons. It's tough enough for them to share a bed, so having a queen was a must :) My older son who wanted to push through the night to reach home, crawled into bed and said, "Thanks for stopping, Mom." We all appreciated the comfort and cleanliness!

Awesome service by all employees during our stay. We had a late flight that kept getting delayed and then trouble getting transportation from the airport. The overnight staff was very helpful and kind and understanding through this process. She was amazing. Thank you!

The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming to this late night traveler. Loved the shampoo/conditioner/body wash bottles attached in the shower. Nice product inside and easy to dispense.

Nice selection. Didn't care too much for coffee, very strong! Attendant for the breakfast area was very nice and friendly. She took the time to welcome us, ask about our stay, and offer anything needed to improve our comfort.
