Room 104 too noisy some times because the lounge.

The rooms are really nicely designed and the view is amazing. Very large rooms for new york. Close to a number of stations.

I don't see the benefit of sonders 'different way to stay'. Unlike a normal hotel, where check in is never difficult and you can generally check in early for free, at sonder you're hounded with emails prior and during your stay, there's no left luggage and early check in is $25. The hotel itself is really nice (although our room was quite dusty and we were missing some towels and pillowcases) but the amount of email communication needed to replace a front desk was annoying.

We had an unforgettable experience at Sonder The Dutch. We got a queen room with a HUGE terrace, with an amazing view of Manhattan. I highly recommend the Sonder The Dutch! The room was spacy and clean, and receptionists were always friendly and smiled. Three subway stations near the hotel are easily accessible to any part of NYC. The hotel is new, modern, and has great value for money. It is 10 minutes subway ride to Manhattan. The neighborhood is safe. We will get back for sure!

It takes forever for the elevator. It is sooooo slow.

Great location 15-20 mins from times square by subway and away from the chaos. Shops in area and a decent pizza spot right on the corner opposite the hotel. Staff were pleasant although all of check in and out can be done in the app so not much need to use the front desk. Downstairs has extra toiletries etc which you are free to take as you wish and a space to eat/read/watch TV. Room was great good shower and bathroom and a great view from the private balcony. Room cleaning/housekeeping comes at an extra cost of $40 I believe so best to keep it tidy yourself if on a budget. Area around hotel never felt dangerous or unsafe no matter the time of night. Would definitely stay again

Location. Very near to Queensboro Plaza Station (7,N,R,Q,W lines) and Queensbridge (F line). Near supermarket, cafes, laundromat. Not too far from Astoria by train or walking. Easy access to La Guadia Airport.

Nothing really. It's not a resort, more convenient for sleeping. It's clean and well secured. Cleaning services require extra payment.

This brand new hotel (opened summer of 2022) is perfectly located near to 7 subway-lines. The amazing view of the rooftop is the best of New York. Friendly staff and security.

Lovely location away from all the traffic but not too far from Manhattan. Subway is 5 minutes away really easy to use. A lot of people have said it’s noisy but I never heard any construction noise! I would really recommend this hotel! There is also luggage storage if your flight is later in the evening and lots of good film choices on tv.

The staff were all so friendly and easy to work with! This is a big factor as it makes the initial experience much more pleasant. Housekeeping is my only complaint but the direct staff there were so nice. When we had an issue with cleanliness they were so quick to respond and try to help. The hotel room itself was so simple and cozy, yet modern. The window lets in some noise but generally the unit we had was fairly quiet. The shower products were nice, Davine’s is a reputable, professional natural brand (hairstylist). Also the ability to leave your bag before and after check in/out was so helpful!

Housekeeping didn’t do a great job even when asked to go over a second time. A lot of slamming doors in the early morning but we were near the elevator and employee room of some sort, it’s to be expected.

The location and the neighborhood were great. Short walk to 2 good stations. Good restaurants and a deli very close by. Staff was great, very helpful and polite. Our room was cosy, had a fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee machine.

There is no place in the hotel to get food or drinks. Would benefit from a vending machine, however, this is our only flaw, and absolutely not a deal-breaker.

everything was clean and neat. the staff was super friendly and helpful. there is a terrace on top of the building and it has an amazing view! Even tho that location might not be perfect, the view is amazing! The lounge is a cute one too! I liked it all!

I liked everything about the hotel. Maybe the only thing to slightly dislike is the location. Walking to the hotel from the subway might be stinky at times when it is hot outside)) but honestly, it's alright.
