The hotel itself was really nice (industrial style) 24/7 reception Close to a 7/11, restaurants/bars and Subway.

You have to ask to clean your room Our deposit was not released after check-out. We are still waiting for it (3 weeks later) Queensize US is small for Belgians 😁

The decoration is amazing I love industrial design and match with the Queens District. Transport to Manhattan is so good. For the people that are going to go without breakfast we recommend to eat in the small coffee shop in the corner, they have an amazing serving and amazing food. My sister was sick and they saved us with the chicken soup

Sounds during the night. The bathroom need more accessories in the bathroom like hooks for towels. More kindness from reception staff

I didnt know what to expect when i booked this Hotel. It was my first time in Long Island City. The neighborhood was great. There were stores and restaurants within walking distance. You cant beat the distance to the subway. The room was incredible. If i could afford it, I would absolutely stay there again. The design was pretty cool. The floor to ceiling windows and the curtains around the outside of the room were a clever and impressive design feature. The hotel is very stylish overall and I had an excellent experience.

I sort of wish there was a fridge in the bedroom. That would make everything a little easier. I also wish the shower was not in its own room from the bathroom sink and toilet. A lot of water got everywhere while showering so maybe a longer curtain or door for it. It was also pretty slippery once you exit the shower. I slid and almost fell a few times. but it was all really nice overall.

This is a very nice hotel with generous and inviting common spaces and interesting historic detail and decor. I really enjoyed our stay there and would certainly return. The surrounding area seemed safe and offered some good options for food. Try Big Apple Eats for breakfast. We easily found street parking a block from the hotel.

Nearby train service was disrupted at night. This is in no way the fault of the hotel, but it does make for a consideration if you are visiting for easy subway access to and from the city at night. During the day, regular service was no problem. It would be nice if the hotel offered fresh coffee in the lobby in place of the individual machines with subpar coffee in each room.

The styling of hotel, is very nice - super eclectic/industrial. Our rooms was also quiet, spacious, and quite clean. I enjoyed the hardwood floors, as carpets usually gross me out. The high ceilings felt very luxurious, and floor to ceiling windows with a view of the city was a great added bonus. They also provide complimentary water, which was lovely after a long day of sightseeing.

I would have appreciated some complimentary slippers to wear in the room. The desk chair was also quite dirty due to the nature of the fabric. The shampoos and soaps are also not the greatest quality.

The room was gorgeous. High ceilings and so much space. The beds were very comfortable and the shower high quality. The beds were big enough for two adults with comfortable space. The location is excellent for travelling into Manhattan. Two minutes walking to subway station and then a quick ride to the city. The rooms are very quiet as well isolated from each other - just a little noise from outside for the bed next to the window.

Being picky: No mini fridge, nor coffee maker - tea kettle in the room. But 5 minutes walking from a 7-11 with many drinks that is open late.

Room was stylish and comfy and the shower was HUGE! With good hot water. Comfy bed, reasonably quiet at night. The lobby was so pretty; I'm only sad I didn't take more pics. Location was perfect for my needs. I was lucky I got a good free parking spot on the street.

Some of the staff was great but one gave me attitude when I complained about my debit card charge for incidentals being $150 and she didn't tell me that up front. Cleaning product smell was so strong when I entered my room that I got a headache and I had to air it out a bit, but at least it was clean! Parking was a little intimidating and the staff didn't really help me figure it out; fortunately I read the street signs and figured it out for myself and all was well.

LOVE the aesthetic of this place. My Queen room was perfectly sized for my solo, short stay; and I loved the big windows. The community areas available for working/reading/hanging out were also great! Shower had plenty of hot water. I saw some complaints about the bed, but I have none. It's not the Westin, but it's not the Red Roof Inn.

The immediate area has very little food/drink options; there is a bit of sound bleed (which is to be expected in an older NYC building); and the TVs are very small. Other than those very small complaints - great spot!

The hotel is very clean and comfortable, half the cost of a hotel in Manhattan yet only a short subway ride away. We always guy a Metro pass good for all buses and subways at LGA - it was even good for a FREE and super fun tram ride into Manhattan from Roosevelt Island. We took a bus to Roosevelt Island soccer field, then bus/tram to Manhattan. There are several good restaurants within 6 blocks of the hotel.

The hotel is in an area that is a mix of apartments and light industrial buildings so not "in the heart of the action" or in an interesting neighborhood like other places we've stayed in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

It's a very nicely done, rustic concept. An older paper factory turned into as hotel is very unique. The building was clean and three staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and welcoming. The location was excellent and very close to where I needed to frequent the most. All in all, a very good choice. I'm glad I stayed there during this trip, sand will most likely be booking another stay there soon.

There were really only a couple things that I didn't like. 1.) There was a damp smell in the restroom, likely from the shower curtain being wet, it maybe not allowed sufficient time to dry thoroughly after being washed. That was resolved easily enough when in the room by closing the bathroom door. 2.) the pillows were a bit uncomfortable. I suffer from chronic neck and back pain and the pillows were not very good, but I was able to make do.
