My family loved the log cabin style hotel room. The room was way bigger than I expected and the beds were extremely comfortable. The place was a little dated but it added to the charm of the cabin feeling. My only negative was the water in the tub had a steady stream, never fully shut off, and the sink dripped constantly. My kids enjoyed the little playground between the cabins, and I loved the walking trail in the woods across from the room to take my dog out to use the bathroom.
The water in the tub and sink never fully shut off. The door to the balcony was very hard to open and the knob would come off of it wasn’t turned just right.

We were in the area to attend the App State Open House. The property is close enough without being in the heart of the campus craziness. Very cozy and cute property. Older property, but charming. Clean and comfortable. Hot shower! Bonus - I did not know there would be a balcony! Owners were very friendly and welcoming.
The property is located on a very busy road, so you do hear a lot of road noise. I did not realize just how busy the entire area was, so that is on me. If you do not like hearing road noise, bring a sound machine or ear plugs. It does quiet down overnight.

We enjoyed the size of the room and the amount of sitting chairs. We could go out on the Balcony and sip coffee while the late risers slept a little longer. The bathroom is nice as the sink and counter where inside the bathroom so we could brush teeth etc without waking others up. Good staff clean rooms.
The ice machine was too far away and down the hill. The vending machine was near and they could put an ice machine there. other than that I love this place.

The property is in a great location. Our lodge was on a hill behind the main office, very cozy
Really I don’t have anything negative except that they allow pets and we did have someone below us who had a large dog who barked all night the 2nd night we were there. Pet owners need to be in another building

We love staying in Boone. It's close to family and is rich in nature and southern culture. The cabin is set in the perfect spot in Boone and has an amazing atmosphere along with the balcony and room provided.
Because we did stay during the holiday weekend, the trash and facilities were not kept up with as much as we would've liked, but overall, it was still a great stay!

There was no breakfast. What I liked is that it was wooded, quiet, (even though we were right off 105 hwy), and had a balcony. I wanted a pet friendly place for an overnight, and it was graced with forested walks with your pet. I will return and rent one of their cabins for a longer stay! Staff was heldful and fun checking in and out!

It was a really pretty location and I thought the rooms were so cute! And I loved the balcony area. I thought it was a really fun place to stay in boone! .
The internet was super confusing and didn't really work at all the whole time. That's all that disappointed me. But it was raining, so hopefully it was just a weather issue.

Location was convenient; staff were friendly. Accommodation was large. Very appreciative to have a fridge in the room. Bed was comfortable.
The biggest draw back was the lack of internet service provider. Although there were instructions on how to log in, the service was extremely poor. The door to the balcony was unable to be locked. Bathroom facilities were very dated. Price was expensive (likely because of a football game - UNC at Appalachian State)

The property was clean and beds were comfortable. We did ask for a room change hours prior to arrival and the staff made it happen. The pool was nice to have since it was hot. Downtown Boone was 4 mins away so dining was easy. The vibes of Boone are just different. We will definitely visit again.
I liked everything about the property. Even the guest above us were super kind and gave my daughter and I a gift card to Outback :)
