Holiday Inn Express Boone, an IHG Hotel

Breakfast was better than expected. Very good choices of both hot & cold foods. Better than most I have experienced. Comfortable room. room was spacious enough for 2 people to be comfortable and not run into one another.

I would have preferred a larger bathroom vanity. The single vanity was not quite large enough for 2 people's toiletries. Also, the air conditioning unit in our room (308) was damaged. It still worked but it was hard to read the buttons as they had been smashed. Thought it was a little overpriced. Usually a hotel costing over $200 per night would have a restaurant/bar and more amenities.

Everything was clean and the staff was nice. It was a pretty hotel and great location.

The humidity in the room was high for some reason from when we checked in until we checked out. we couldn’t figure it out. Even on the wooden furniture under the tv remote or anything we sat down, there would be white areas on the furniture. Also, the shower curtain rod needs to be lowered or the shower curtain needs to be longer as the water just pours out of the tub while taking a shower. it doesn’t even touch the tub when the curtain is closed. We had to put down multiple towels so the pool of water wouldn’t go under the door to the carpet. I also wonder if possibly all of that moisture over time not going down the drain, may be causing high humidity in the air with the room never getting to air out and dry up. Just a thought.

The location is very convenient. The breakfast is hearty and satisfying. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet even though we were right by the elevators.

If you have any food allergies/dietary restrictions there would not be much for you at the breakfast. I did not inquire as to any accommodations that could be made for those with restrictions. We splurged on a room with a balcony, but did not feel it was worth it. There was no furniture to sit on the balcony and the door to the balcony was a swinging door rather than a sliding door.

Breakfast was not good - they did not have any eggs because they did not get there shipment. Well , management could have went to walmart or publix across the street to buy eggs. Limited - we were forced to go out and get breakfast You have hotel full of guest and could not provide adequete breakfast.

No refigerator or microwave in the room - had to pay 10.00 extra for that - that is a given in most hotel rooms Breakfast did not eat - asked to use the work out room - that is off site - Have to ask for housekeeping if staying for more then one night. They were good about it when I asked

The breakfast was good as was the location.

In the bathroom, he tile is laid so that the outside of the shower makes a lake and it is dangerous. The lighting is bad and in one case mis-wired so that the on position is down and not up.

Great location. Close to EVERYTHING you would need, Starbucks, restaurants, WalMart, CVS, and close to the school. You have access to A GREAT gym close to the hotel that is 24 hour access. Staff super friendly and good continental breakfast.

Very good continental breakfast. Room excellent. Quiet and convenient. Young woman checking us in very personable and helpful.

I notice in your hotel and a previous hotel we used, not Holiday Inn have a stale odor. This may be due to pets in the buildings. Suggest good pet odor fighting cleaning. Not a major complaint

Breakfast was good. Loved coffee available all day.

Pool was closed in July and we booked this hotel for the outdoor pool and then were not allowed to go out there because they were waiting on an inspection. Also, the lighting in our bathroom was extremely dim and no fan in the bathroom so the mirror stayed fogged up.

The free breakfast to get the day started was great. The location was central to several sites we were interested in seeing.

There was a poor pillow choice. A firmer pillow would have really helped. I felt I slept poorly because the pillow was not correct for my sleeping style.

Location and they upgraded us to a suite to assist my husband. The staff were very friendly.

The older lady in the breakfast area was a little rude. She hovered over people as they fixed their breakfast and was not very friendly.
