clean and staff was wonderful

Competitive pricing in a city whose hotels have become expensive. Friendly and efficient staff accommodated our requests - large, comfortable room and bathroom - room air conditioning worked very well on exceptionally hot days - Hot and Cold breakfast selection - large parking lot and free parking - small but adequate gym - good wi-fi and TV reception - our room on the back was quiet and had a lovely garden view despite the hotel's location on a very busy street - quick and easy access to Interstate 77 - several fast-food restaurants nearby.

This is an older hotel and the public spaces show some wear, but hotel rooms have been upgraded and are fine.

Room was clean. It was spacious. The two beds were neatly made. The bathroom was pretty big and so was the bathroom mirror. The breakfast was decent and the front desk worker checked me in and out quickly. I liked how there was a snack bar in the lobby, only because I needed something small every now and then so this was helpful. And I also liked how close it was to the light rail station so I could go in and out of the main city center!

I feel like the carpet could use a little update, maybe even a deep clean. I did not like that our room was right next to someone else's room because I could hear the other guest coughing the entire night. It was annoying. I understand people get sick but boy, that door right next to my bed did not help! It was one of those doorways that had a door in each room that if you opened both, you could walk right into the other room. I also feel like the ice machine is a little out of date. The little soaps were very rubbery.

Perfect location for us to get the Lynx line into Uptown for a concert. Very nice job updating the rooms.

Lobby could use a bit more work. I was worried the room would be less than nice because of the lobby.

I really appreciate the fact that the frontdesk officer was kind enough to accomodate my early check in request for no extra cost and it was only 8am. I was initially only asking if i could leave my luggages and the FO to my surprise yold me he doesn't want me to wait and that there is already a room available for me at the first floor. Moreoever, he allowed me to take my breakfast that same day since the next morning i will be rushing to the airport to catch my flight. There is a free airport shuttle available. The earliest trip of which is 6am. The hotel room was spacious and comes with a big screen TV (a lot of channels), ref, microwave, heater/airconditioner. It was well lighted. The bed was comfortable and love that there were a lot of soft and fluffy pillows. The lication of accessible to the nearest train station (Woodlawn) for you to go to Downtown Charlotte.

Room smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was a nonsmoking room.

Good value. If you need to spend a night in Charlotte - I would recommend this property. Everything you need is there. P.S. I really liked the toiletries, especially face soap. Thank you for providing small but very essential things!

Dinner at walking distance BBQ restaurant was outstanding. On site free breakfast was good- but I just had the continental portion, not the hot food. Desk employee Quinn was very pleasant and helpful.

Requested top floor for less noise (had early departure). Was awakened a few times between 11p & 12a by 3rd floor non-caring guests (including screaming kids) in the hallway. Called desk who eventually took care of sotuation.

The staff was really nice and effective, we arrived late thanks to American Airlines and they had everything ready, we checked in in minutes. The lady offered us precise information about the shuttle times and breakfast, which wasn't clear in Booking. They gave us breakfast to go and a comfy short stay to rest in our layover

Location and comfort … bed was super comfortable and soft pillows . Handicapped access and breakfast delicious .

No Pool and internet was down many times … wifi reception was in and out I couldn’t watch tv and we were nothing to do at night but playing with our cells lol
