Every encounter with staff in all realms were great. Everyone we encountered were friendly and hospitable. The aesthetics of the room and bathroom were gorgeous. The breakfast and service in the executive lounge was top tier. The location was great in general and conveniently located near the stadium. My experience was so great, I literally searched where all JW Marriott properties were located. Of course, I’d stay at the JW Marriott Charlotte if I fly to Charlotte in the future.

The view from our room was lackluster due to construction. We were on the 20th floor that overlooked an adjacent building that was actively under construction. However, certain things are out of JW Marriott’s control.

The property was located in a great area downtown. It was very clean. you couldn’t hear a lot of noise in other rooms. There was several dining options. I loved the ambiance of the rooftop pool.

Parking. I did not know that there was no hotel parking for guests. there is a parking garage but you had to pay high fees to park there or $45 a day in valet fees. We ended up spending over $90 on parking which is ridiculous!! The rooms don’t have microwaves. There is only one on the executive lounge in the lobby. We ate one night at Aura they have a very limited menu.

Everything, the location is great. The rooms are lovely, clean, comfortable and spacious. I would definitely say it’s worth every penny!! We ate in the steak house on the first floor it was incredible! We also got to enjoy some drinks at the rooftop bar in the sun :) The staff up there was very pleasant and polite. People around the hotel were all friendly. Fitness centre was one of the best fitness centres we have ever been to in a hotel! Good equipment and space! Valet car service was very good, they were all Polite and so helpful! If I was ever to come back to Charlotte I would stay in this hotel again!

Amazing location in the middle of everything! At least two museums right across the street/ around the corner. Walking distance to lots of attractions downtown. Customer service is excellent. Several restaurants in the hotel. Great views and comfortable beds. The shower was heavenly.

No real complaints... I wish check-in was earlier (like 3pm) and check out was later (12pm). It would be great if the executive lounge could be part of the add-on during booking. Note a $75 holding fee during check in.

The valet was amazing ! The design and decor were incredible and the restaurant staff at Caroline’s Oyster House and the rooftop bar really go above and beyond.

Zero complaints. If I had a suggestion at all it would be that an email made suggestions about reservations at the steak house etc. I didn’t realize it was there and missed out. No one fault but my own but I would have likely followed a prompt if I had received one.

Modern, clean, spacious. Loved the elevator efficiency.

Feathered pillows. Smell awful and I believe made me sleep poorly because my sinuses filled up overnight. I should have called the front desk for down alternative. Frankly they should be stocked in the closet. As well as blanket for those who cant sleep w a full comforter.

The JW is a beautiful property in a great location. The room was spacious with all amenities you could need including plenty of mirrors. It is very walkable in the center of downtown and there is even a Whole Foods two blocks away.

I expected the gym to be larger with more workout equipment.

This Hotel was very phenomenal! Staff were all very professional and courteous! The room was immaculate. Amazing city view.

I’d have to say the only inconvenience was the parking. Valet was the go to option if you planned on being active in and out during your stay. You were paying for parking each time you left the hotel and it could get pricey.

I wasn't able to enjoy the rooftop bar & pool due to not knowing reservations were required. If I was aware I would've made a reservation at the time of booking.

This hotel was in the middle of everything. So it was really for us to walk everywhere! I loved the smell in the lobby. The staff were very nice and accomodating...especially front desk! And the hotel was also perfect for taking photos!

Didn't really care about the food and drinks at one of the restaurants. But the breakfast at the main restaurant was amazing!
