Hilton Charlotte Uptown

Convenient to convention center and staff was very nice, attentive, and helpful. Offered a comp upgrade to city view, however the view was a large parking garage with bright lights that stayed on all night and shined directly into the room. Breakfast was great.

The dinner restaurant was a disappointment. The variety was limited. Some of the lettuce on my hamburger was rotten like green slime and the lettuce in my salad was brown. I ordered a dessert and it had a rotten moldy strawberry on it with bumps on the top that I couldn’t identify. Most of the outlets advertised on the website were closed or gone completely. There were 2 spots that looked like they were still in business a coffee spot and a small market, but they were both closed at 4:00 on a Saturday.

I loved the location of the hotel, the décor of the hotel, the staff, valet staff included were excellent. The bar and wait staff were excellent and friendly. The food at night was delicious also.

I didn't like the fact the hotel tried to charge my card 10 different times, when it wasn't even the card I used for check in. Once I left I received a call an hr later stating that my account had a balance. The same card that I used to check in with, they stated couldn't be charged for incidentals. However I had already checked out and received my print stating everything was fine. Next time all things need to be checked before departure, it was very irritating trying to drive back home and handle that at the same time. But the staff lady was courteous and apologetic and it worked itself out. Oh, I didn't like the price of the drinks at the bar, they're higher than club prices. 2 shots of Patron should not be $35.

The location was nice, I choose it due to close to venue I was going to and first time staying in charlotte, and was a nice hotel, being a past hotel manager, for a ritz Carlton, it has good and bad points.

There were luggage carts on our floor for both nights, which shows Noone was walking the floors. Also there were bags in ice room on our floor that was there the whole time we were there. Also the ice machine didn't work on our floor or other floors I had to go to 4 different floors to get ice. Finally paying over $220 a night then to charge $24 a night for parking is ridiculous. Makes me not want to stay at this property again due to it appearing Noone cares what the floors look like after they get your money.

Location of hotel is easy walking distance to just about any interest a traveller would want to indulge. As expected, staff was professionally courteous and efficient. In fact, it appears the entire service and hospitality industry in the greater downtown Charlotte area is acutely attuned to the needs and enjoyment of the visitor or tourist to the city.

Nothing comes to mind. Enjoyed my stay very much.

The breakfast presentation was exceptional , unfortunately the food on the bar was cold.Had to get the cook to make an omelet that was hot . I had stayed at many Hilton Hotels and never had to pay for my breakfast as an additional cost which was know way worth the price which was paid.

The Breakfast included in the price of the hotel ,not an additional cost which wasn't on the standards for Hilton, very disappointed.

I loved how the hotel was walking distance from so many things to do around town. The staff at the hotel was friendly and accommodating when we needed things. Parking was easy. The view out into the city was great. When we called room service, they always answered.

House keeping never came to our room over the two days. We had to call and ask for towels to be brought to our room.

The reviews are quite right. The place definitely needs to be updated, but it is very clean and comfortable. I am a germaphobe and did not find any issues with the room.

My only complaint is the parking issue. We checked in online, and we ended up paying a lot of money every night. Something told me to check in with reception and they said that parking is a bit cheaper if I did it through the hotel. That would have been nice to know when I checked in.

I had a premium level room which came with access to the top floor premium lounge, which was beautiful and had complimentary sodas, waters and juices as well as snacks and fruits. The room was very clean and spacious.

good location and easy walking distance to stadium, spectrum center or baseball stadium. Rooms are set up nicely for 2 people with plenty of room. Large desk, lighted makeup mirror, convenient plugs for charging. Very comfortable beds and pillows.

Nothing really. Wish there had been a late night food menu as restaurants in the area close early and door dash was extremely long wait because of the busy concert weekend. The front desk snacks were wiped out but we did snag 2 packs of crackers.

Excellent stay! Came to CLT for the 49ers game. We we’re able to walk to the stadium, restaurants, and bars. The Hotel was very quiet; away from all the street noise. The room is just as you see in the pics. Small. But okay for 2. Super clean also. We had breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel. It was basic, a little below average. But we didn’t expect to much. I’d definitely stay here again though.
