The staff was polite and rooms were clean

Didn't like that they made us switch rooms bc older people complained bc I had a 2year old being loud on vacation

We stayed there last week and it was wonderful. I had requested a handicap room on booking.com and they didn't get the request at the front desk, the hotel made it right for us in the end. The rooms were immaculate and the pool was easy to get into on the handicap assist chair. Breakfast was a hit too. I am going to miss it when I go home.

Booking.com screwed up our reservation? Instead of a Double Room with Two Double Beds and Communications Mobility Accessible Tub we were assigned to a standard room. We were put into a King Room with Communications and Mobility Accessible Tub. (I took my own bath bench.)

The room was fine. The cleanliness was great. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. NO HOT WATER!

I didn't like the fact that the hot water was not HOT. Matter of a fact we didn't get to shower one night because the water was cold. However, we were told they were working on the water situation and when it was completed they would call and let us know, but no one called. There were seven rooms affected by having cold water. The next morning it was hot for me and by the time my husband took his shower it was lukewarm again. We stayed three nights and I got one hot shower. I was very disappointed. I've always rely on Holiday Inn as a go to Hotel thishis one was not satisfying.

Access to beach was difficult and did not feel safe next to the road with the kids. We could hear people in other rooms and the hall, very clearly, as if the walls were thin or not insulated. Wasn't excited about the dog in the swimming pool.

The staff was very welcoming and kind. The buffet choices reminded me of my primary school days which was nice. Many places to lounge around the property. Very walkable area for the beach, restaurants and what not. I was able to enjoy my entire trip without driving around.

The gym and the pool was smaller than expected. Honestly, the cleaning crew could’ve done a better job with cleaning the room mirrors, shower curtains, and the pool area. But they were very nice.

The staff were all very accommodating and friendly. The entire facility (although new) was very clean and convenient. The pool was great, lots of clean towels. Breakfast was great. Location was great, short walk to beach and lots of shopping and restaurants. We stay for 1 night every year in Kitty Hawk before meeting up with other families in Corolla or Ocracoke, and as long as prices stay consistent we'll definitely be choosing this hotel again in the future.

Facility was clean and new! Breakfast was plentiful and good for a continental breakfast offering.

Our room was right off the lobby and near the housekeeping office so it was decently loud, but we were the last room to check in so I suspect that is just the luck of the draw. Our room did have a shirt from a previous guest shoved behind the bed but we just put it back - just recommend a deeper check during housekeeping.

If I had to stay at a hotel in the area again it would be here. Clean, nice, updated facility. My family and I traveled from Texas. Ended up in a car accident. Not going to go into details, but the staff was very understanding and took the time out to care for us! I forgot the guy name, but the African American male with the locs from NY. We are greatly appreciated! So so Thankful for you!

The pancake machine had broke lol! That’s all I have.

Breakfast was good just not top notch. Eggs and coffee were good. Wide variety of breads. The pancake machine was broken so made it a little harder for picky kids to eat but there was still could make do with what was available. Location is close to the beach and beside Moe’s restaurant which is also a plus!! Very clean place ! Overall good choice.

Good value for the amount paid. We enjoyed the privacy of the pool. We could see the beach from a distance from our room.

Needed insulation between rooms & hall. You could hear other televisions at night and staff talking in the mornings outside our room. The walk to the beach was lengthy for small children.
