Great location. The staff was friendly.

Apparently it’s okay to smoke marijuana in the rooms or on the balcony. We were on the third floor and had family on the fourth floor and you could smell it as soon as you opened the door or came off the elevator. My daughter had her 4 month old son with her and we don’t want him breathing that.

View was nice, we got the ocean view room on the 3rd floor. The pool was really nice and the fact that we could walk right out to the beach was a plus. Also there was two restaurants right across the street that had good food too!

There were only a few things I didn’t like. The breakfast wasn’t good. I tried to eat it the first morning and left to get food elsewhere. The path to go to the beach was flooded so had to walk in a big unavoidable puddle every time.sitting outside on the balcony was really nice but the AC unit was blowing really hot air so it made it a bit uncomfortable. We just turned off the ac when we event outside.

Nobody to clean pool. Just put chemicals in it didnt bother to get junk out. So, we took turns using the net to get the junk out of pool. Alot of things looked like they were neglected or maybe not enough staffing. Staff was friendly. Breakfast staff went the xtra mile for us. Most of the people at front desk were nice. This is my second year staying there. I like it because theres a pool. But prices have doubled! Alot of people cant afford to stay in obx anymore. Not sure i can afford to stay there next year.

breakfast hrs between 6-9:30am. property should consider 10 am for the slow vacationers. Gym was a bit small. Maybe 2 ppl can be in there at a time. I witnessed children playing in the gym which discouraged my use. Bar n grill hrs 4-9pm. should consider 3-10pm and also a lunch hr for pool goers.

Location--right on the beach, easy parking, good breakfast

This can't be cured, but potential guests should know that you have to haul your luggage up one elevator to the next floor and then transfer to another elevator to get to the upper floors. What a strange design for a hotel! It took a long time for the hot water to come up in the sink. The elevator doors and jambs were banged up. The doors of the rooms were scratched. This gives the hotel a shabby look.

Convenient location on the beach was wonderful! Loved having a balcony attached to our room so that we could sit outside. It took a few days to realize that there was an on-site recycling container (located in the guest convenience store), but was very happy when I discovered it. Loved that there was a guest convenience store, too.

I would have loved to see the tables in the breakfast bar area get wiped down-I am sure that they may have been, but we were eating breakfast, I did not see any tables be wiped, though the breakfast staff was very friendly. The lounge (located in the lobby) offers a variety of drinks, cocktails, and food in the late afternoon, which was a great convenience, but...I would have loved to see some fresh salad and fruit options in their offerings. Bathroom was a bit tiny, but we made it work.

Breakfast was great, location was perfect. Staff were extremely nice. Zero complaints.

Price, I don’t think this is fixable because I understand the property is surely expensive to keep up and the location makes it inevitable. We usually stay in our camper ocean front at Myrtle Beach with all the amenities and it’s cost the same for 7 days at Myrtle Veach as this did for 3 nights..

The check in staff was super friendly and was happy to be there checking us in, which you don't find too often. We checked in Saturday 6/17 at 530pm and I wish I had asked for her name to give her a huge Kudos! The 4th floor oceanfront room was perfect and the hot breakfast and selections were absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back next summer if not sooner!

There is nothing that we didn't find that we didn't like!!

The location was great! our first trip to OBX. Lynnsey Kelley was exceptionally kind and welcoming. Being prior military and accompanied by service dogs we were made to feel at home. During our stay there was a fraternity visiting as well. Lynnsey moved us to a quieter location and upgraded our room for the inconvenience. The breakfast server was also great offering a variety to choose from and kept the dining area clean!

Breakfast was great and tasty. Ate onsite every morning which allowed us to get our day started earlier. The beach size was good. Low tide is very short this time of year so you had to really had to time your beach time carefully. Otherwise had a great time on the beach.

Building does seem somewhat dated, but overall met our expectations.
