The Sea Ranch Resort

It was close to the beach. The beach bistro was cute and had a good breakfast. The room was large but dated.

The couch was stained and needs to be replaced. The curtains were torn.

Nice spot on the beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was large. WiFi and TV were ok. Beach access was great. Chris on the Maintenance staff is a good guy. Very laid-back vibe. The desk clerk on check-out was indifferent about the guests hiding the very few luggage carts in their rooms. Ample luggage carts are needed, and I think it's on the hotel staff to secure them. Or maybe ever offer to help? The clerk seemed unhappy when I suggested I might start knocking on the other guest room doors to see where they were. :"D

Common areas like the elevator alcoves needed cleaning. The vending machines didn't work! (You're losing money!) It would have been nice to get the room cleaned maybe just one time during our week there. We asked and were offered extra towels - but no cleaning bathroom, making fresh beds or vacuum? Ugh. Please indicate that in your ads. The Beachside Bistro looked nice, but was always jammed full. More seating options, like shaded outdoor seating, or room service, would be a win/win.

Room was cozy and clean and so was the bathroom. I could smell the cleaner they used for the shower so that was a plus for me. Breakfast at the on site restaurant was good and reasonably priced. They were short staffed in the restaurant (had to get a guy from maintenance to help out) but service was still top notch. Access to the beach was great! Pool great!

Guy on the phone was a bit rude when I called to ask about early check-in. There is no elevator in the main house (where we stayed) so that was a bummer since we packed all our stuff on a trolley. The front entrance to get in is quite the v-shaped dip so it would be good if they could eventually maybe just make that a ramp.

Great location with our oceanfront room with balcony. Wonderful indoor pool with perfect water temperature. Easy access to beach. Plenty of parking. Comfortable beds with choice of pillows and glorious thick towels.

Room looked like it needed some spring cleaning from dust buildup on mattress covers to dirty places on walls behind trash cans to spots on the curtains. Pool towels the size of hand towels. Super stinky elevator really needs a scrubbing and mat into office needs to be replaced; it has served its time and doesn’t make a good first impression.

We loved it! We enjoyed our 3 night stay and hope to come back one day! Room was clean with plenty of room to move around. The views are beautiful right over the ocean and only a small walk to the beach! The gentleman running the front desk was especially great! He was super friendly, smiling and seemed very happy to help us. We haven't experienced this with other places in a long time. He told us if we needed anything to just call the front desk. Also gave us several extra coffee packets!

The ONE & ONLY thing we hated was the Mattress! It was extremely uncomfortable!

Location was central and perfect for us and the places we frequent! Staff were very people friendly!!

While it's wonderful that the facility accommodates pets, my dogs live inside with me too, well, I should say I live with them! I felt as though the carpet wasn't clean. Took a shower before bed and needed to wash feet again next morning before putting on socks, as the bottom of my feet were visibly stained. Im not sure indoor pets is as much the issue as the rooms not being vacuumed daily. I understand all about reducing Covid exposure and also the lack of help as a result of Covid. I assume thats why room's did not have daily housekeeping, but the carpeting was visibly soiled. Not surface sand, lint or debris, but deep down soiled. Maybe someone should look into this because I certainly wouldn't have wanted this room if I had small children.

Right on the beach, we spent a lot of time on our balcony. We had plenty of space for our family of four to spread out.

Like any hotel, sheets and bath towels were provided, but having a full kitchen, dishes, etc., there were no kitchen towels available, just a small roll of paper towels, which were used up in two days. Either provide kitchen towels or let guests know ahead of time to bring them. Also, we weren't aware that we had a washer/dryer in our suite....we could have packed a bit lighter had we known we could do a load or two of laundry midweek.

I have been coming here for years, it is the perfect beach hotel. The price is fair for what you get. The room was a perfect size for me and my Fiance and his 16 year old sister. We had a king bed and a pull out couch. The ac worked great and the front desk staff was so nice. it was in the perfect location and had an indoor heated pool which is a plus because it was too cold for the beach.

The first morning we woke up to a horrible smell from the bathroom that smelt like sewage water. We were only there for one more day so we just kept the bathroom door shut but I could not figure out where the smell was coming from. There was also stains on the sheets so I just put my own sheets on the bed and all was good!

The property is right on the beach. The heated indoor pool was great for the kids when the spring weather was too cold or rainy to swim in the ocean. The balcony view of the ocean and beach was so enjoyable. There’s a convenient bistro on-site and all of the staff members throughout the hotel were very nice.

The beds were ok but not as comfortable as others. The bedding could use an upgrade. Our sheets were stained. And the room needed a once over deep clean to get rid of dust and build up behind and under furniture.
