On the same street as a beach access point, maybe a 5 minute walk to get there. We walked basically everywhere, the location is awesome. Free internet. It’s a great budget hotel in a pinch since we booked a room only a week before our trip.

Room didn’t have a safe or an iron/ironing board, both times I went to the front desk no one was there. Room was a bit outdated decor-wise but we mainly used our stay here as a place to sleep. If you plan on staying in your room a lot I’d be wary of choosing this place.

No breakfast due to COVID but we don’t usually do hotel breakfast so was no biggie to us. Free coffee daily tho.

Rooms could be arranged better to make the most of the space and a rehab of rooms would make this place a perfect 10. Stayed for 7 days. If you just need a place to sleep and shower and room size is not an issue, this is a great place. All in what you need and your choice and budget.

The owners and housekeeper went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and felt welcomed! I got my $100 cleaning deposit back within 2 minutes of checking out!! The rooms were very clean and smelled nice also!!

My only complaint is I was not told ahead of time the pool was out of service. Even though it was a bit cold outside my kids wanted to swim in the pool. The pool was a huge reason I booked my stay at the Outer Banks Inn but unfortunately it was out of service and I was not told until the kids were about to literally jump in the pool! That is my only complaint!

There was no breakfast, but we weren’t expecting any. There was coffee which we did not try. The bedspreads were kind of old and tired looking and that would help a lot to gain a five star review. Nice artwork in the rooms.

My daughter and I LOVED our stay at Outer Banks Inn! Extremely friendly staff, large rooms, very clean, great location, and many amenities! We were well taken care of, and had a wonderful experience!

Everything was excellent!

Convenient location, clean facilities, the pool was nice and clean and enjoyable. Check-in was at 4 but I appreciated that they called me at 1:30 to let me know that my room was already cleaned and ready for my arrival. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

While loading our car in the morning before check out, our keys were deactivated so that became a complication when we were trying to get on the road

No breakfast but excellent free coffee! Wonderful clean outdoor pool. Paid for clothes dryer use - only $1.00!

Our room was on the ground floor so we could hear walking above us. Location is right on the highway so you can hear traffic when sitting outside. But I would still recommend this property.

Upon arrival we received a pront and friendly greeting. We didn't want/need a fancy hotel...just one that was close to start line of our race. OBI is clean and has everything you need for a low-key weekend stay.

We have no complaints.

The people working there were very friendly and accommodating. It is a short walk to the beach.You can be there for sun up and for a walk under the stars, It is also close to the Wright Brothers National Monument and to stores and restaurants.

It would have been great to have breakfast! It is not offered right now.

I have stayed at the Outer Bank Inn before and went back because of the clean rooms, clean pool, very friendly staff. We were able to eat outside at picnic tables while family enjoyed the pool, Location is great for our needs, close to family that live in OBX as well as close enough for our Marine grandson to drive to from his base in NC. Perfect family environment, everyone from the staff to other patrons are always friendly. A great place to stay
