Location. Right on the beach. Great view from 2nd floor balcony comfortable bed,simple cooking facilities,hot shower,walk to restaurant ,clean. Very low key. No glamour ,few amenities,room had basic necessities, minimal cooking pots pans,utensils,room was good size

Could have used a few more basic cooking things like some glass bowl for microwave cooking and warming or steaming. No paper products. Bring your own. Paper towels,tissue,paper plates. Publix close by to buy what you need. No condiments salt,pepper etc. not a complaint just good to know ahead of time. Very quiet until someone came next door and was drunk loud and noisy. Can’t pick your neighbors. Not a fan of drunks. All and all great stay. Maybe booking.com can stress loud drunks can stay somewhere else. Family motel

We absolutely love this little gem of a motel. It is right along the beach, the pool is nice, and the rooms are very comfortable whilst providing great value. The people at the front desk and the other guests are always so friendly; we have stayed here multiple times when at the OBX, and it is because the facilities are so clean and welcoming. Wifi works well, shower is hot, and the bathroom mirror is perfect for makeup application. :)

Excellent location with quite a bit in easy walking distance. Seems newly renovated and well maintained. We stayed as a large group in 4 separate rooms, all were up to the same standard. The beach access was easy and the beach seemed private for guests which meant it wasn’t crowded. We used the pool, grills, picnic area, and laundry facilities. All met our needs well. We’d stay here again.

I really loved the new mattresses that the new owners upgraded to. I wish I knew what it was I’d buy one for home.

I’m sad they did away with the full stove in the efficiency rooms, and the step into the efficiency rooms on the lower level is a bit steep not very user friendly. Our room (103) also did not have a working gfi plug in the bathroom.

The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. We arrived well before check-in and the front desk was able to arrange for us to get in our room a bit early. The rooms are remodeled so they have a fresh look and feel. Easy access to the beach.

I want to stress these are MINOR inconveniences... overall the good well outweighed the bad.... the rooms were remodeled but some of the finishing touches were not completed (molding around the doors) and the curtains were not securely bolted so they fell off the track when we went to close them for privacy. Again, MINOR inconveniences

Wonderful location, many eateries close by in walking distance. Best of all, you can't beat walking out your room and stepping into the sand! So relaxing for mother's day weekend!

The only down side in my opinion is no private balcony. It's shared among all oceanside guests. Although we adjusted to this and enjoyed talking and meeting our neighbors! Would most definitely stay here again😊

Location, location! Amazing staff, room and most importantly view!! Very few properties have beach access (literally sand) out the room door. Most have a short walk and decks you have to use to access the beach. Great staff! Will stay again!!

Kitchenette range took entirely too long to boil water. Ended up just making the macaroni and cheese on the grill.

The rooms appear to have been recently updated. Comfy beds with lots of space. Great view and easy access to the beach. Nice pool if you want a change from the beach.

The bathroom is very spacious but the vanity's need to be larger for toiletries, a shelf of some sort would be helpful. Very small area to hang clothes. One remote to control 3 TV's.

The location was excellent. I loved to be able to see the ocean through my window and walking out the door right onto the sand

Kitchenette had a lot to desire there were not many utensils or dishes. The room was very small but the bed was very comfortable.

Location Location Location, walking distances to several different kinds of restaurants and shopping. Perfect access to beach.

The only thing missing from the recently updated rooms is somewhere to hang up a few clothing items if something could be added a small metal hanging system then it would be perfect.
