when we checked into our room the beds weren’t made and the floor wasn’t vacuumed said it was a new housekeeper. but promptly moved us to another room

The room was large, clean and comfortable. The night counterwoman was nice and helpful. This was a good midpoint for our Great Smoky Mountain Railway Polar Express ride and the Biltmore Christmas tour. We would stay here again.

We had 5 people in our room but there were only 2 towels and washcloths in the room. I did ask for more the next morning and was quickly given the extras. I think the room should have had at least 5 sets of towels since that was how many people we had registered in the room.

This wasn’t my first stay at this location and it won’t be my last. The Days Inn in Waynesville NC has been clean and comfortable with outstanding staff every single time.

My only complaint, and it’s a minor one, is the breakfast offered. There are packs of instant oatmeal and grits, prepackaged donuts and tangerines along with coffee and a pitcher of apple juice. I’ve seen worse but it could be better. Even if you can’t offer eggs and bacon (don’t care for eggs anyway lol), I would love to be able to have a slice of peanut butter toast or a toasted bagel with cream cheese. Just a thought and as I said, a very minor complaint.

.It appeared every room has a balcony with very comfortable rocking chairs and privacy walls overlooking the mountains.We spent most of our time out there.Also loved the elevator instead of lugging luggage up the stairs.

If there was anything to complain about it was the light in the balcony area came on automatically with no way to shut it off. This kind of ruined the beautiful sunset

The hotel was very quiet and peaceful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room, halls and parking lot were all clean. I had stayed there a year ago and they appear to have upgraded the rooms since then, the bed and pillows are exceptionally comfortable. I will definitely be back.

There really wasn’t anything that I didn’t like.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was cleaned daily. Hand sanitizer is located next to the elevators and other random spots. You check in from a window on the outside of the lobby so that there is no direct contact with anyone. Safety precautions for Covid-19 are followed really well. I felt very safe there.

Your view of the mountains and road are obstructed by the railing when you are sitting in the rocking chair on the second floor. It would be nice if the railing was metal and not bulky wood. The view is absolutely gorgeous but you have to be standing up to see all it's beauty.

Staff super friendly. Especially the young woman that checked us in. Evening shift. Great view. Room was clean. I hesitated a Days Inn due to previous years experience. This one should be an example for them. Pleasantly surprised.

The price is amazing. The amenities are very good (the pool is wonderful) The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Beds are uncomfortable.

The bed's were very comfortable and the pillows were the best I've ever slept on in a hotel Good cable TV service which is a plus in the mountain areas.

Due to the virus they could not do breakfast or serve coffee as advertised. They do have a single serve coffee pot with coffee in their rooms.

The facilities in the view were very nice.

there was supposed to be a breakfast of some sort, but it was nowhere to be found. There was a Shoney’s not too far away that was fine, but I had hoped to be able to get up in the morning, Grab breakfast at the hotel and take off.
