Absolutely the best hotel for Origins Game Fair. The hotel is pricy, but worth the convenience. It has a sky bridge to the convention center. It has its own parking garage, which is rare and difficult to find for a Columbus hotel, and you can purchase a pass to get in and out of the garage with no hassle. The hotel has a coffee shop, is close to a Starbucks, and is not far from the convention center's excellent food court. The common areas are large, pretty, and surprisingly relaxing. The room had a comfortable bed, many pillows of different textures, plenty of outlets for charging electronic devices, and a rather spacious bathroom.

The elevators are incredibly annoying, and I dreaded having to use them every time I needed to go back to my room. The elevators require you to press your room key card against a scanner before you can press the button for your floor. However, the scanner is fickle, in an awkward position, and takes several seconds to read your card. If you're not fast enough to pull out your card and have it scanned, the elevator will take off to someone else's floor, wasting your time. Going to the parking garage requires you to walk through an alley that made me feel very unsafe.

This hotel experience was one of the best I have ever had. I have traveled the world extensively for military, civilian and pleasure time. The staff and amenities were simply top notch. I will make this hotel my stay every year when I come to the game convention that I was attending. The front desk greeting, the bellhop, valet, bartenders...everyone was extraordinary quality. They should all receive raises, recognition and whatever done to retain them.

The pricing felt a little gouged because of my late reservation for the convention. I still paid it because it got me right next to the con, but definitely felt like a few rooms had been left off the available list just to get a higher price for them later. I paid close to three times the normal rate. I understand that is capitalism and supply and demand, but it felt a little extreme.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hilton Columbus Downtown and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. One of the standout features of this hotel is its convenient location. Situated in the heart of Columbus, it is just a stone's throw away from many of the city's popular attractions, restaurants, and shopping centers. The cozy beds provided an excellent night's sleep. The rooms were also impeccably clean and well-maintained, giving me a sense of peace and relaxation after a long day of exploring the city. The fitness center was well-equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, allowing me to maintain my workout routine during my stay. Breakfast had filling options, perfect to start the day. We also had a pet with us, and checking in with our dog was also convenient. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Columbus.

The food from the restaurants on the property was very good. The comfort of the bed was incredible. I might rebook for no reason other than to sleep in one of those beds again!

A fire alarm went off in the roof top bar. Supposedly, from a waitress , there is a malfunctioning stove vent that backs up in the kitchen. Until we flagged someone down to see what was going on there was no communication from any of the staff to the guests. They continued to work while the patrons exited down 28+ floors via the stairwell as the elevators had shut down. Very concerning how the staff reacted or should I say didn’t.

the hotel was very nice, a little confusing due to having two towers. we had a tendency to get lost. but it is a very nice hotel, great location

we hated the fact that the room A/C would not get below 75 degrees. we felt like we were sleeping in a sauna after coming in from exploring the area. we were hoping after all the walking we would come into a nice cool room and be able to get a good nights sleeep before the wedding. The Groom was one of the guests and he was exhausted from not getting much sleep. This really put a damper on wedding day as he was dragging trying to get last minute things done.

it’s new

the sound proofing isn’t very good, especially the door seals. I saw punch list items to be attended to. room 995 door gasket is detached. noise from neighbours can be heard through the door loud and clear. the heating unit is a bit loud. there was no master light switch by the bed which is unfortunate for a new hotel. FYR restaurant staff needs better training. please do not automatically assume that your hotel guest is running away without paying, especially when it was your staff’s internal communications and operations problems. one took the signed check without informing the other. speed and courtesy are of utmost importance when it comes to service. after all, that’s what customers pay for and expect.

Attachment to the convention center and parking garage was convient and wonderful. Fyr was an enjoyable breakfast experience.

Checkout. Some way and some how they checked me out at 10:46 and I showed up to my room being prepared for the next guests at 11:40ish. When inquiring at the front desk I was informed that another room had checked out under my room number. Completely unacceptable and a security risk to future guests. Measures should be made to prevent this from happening again. However, outside the last 10min of my stay I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would stay there at least one more time.

Location was very lovely! beautiful views and facilities. Upon arrival paid an additional $60 for room protection and another $29 for garage parking, but besides those expenses everything was quite wonderful! Staff was kind and helpful, and food and other services were easily accessible through a QR code! Hotel is within in walking distance from several resuraunts and bars! Definitely will book again.

Unexpected fees and there was construction going on outside of parking garage exit, making it difficult to get out but overall was a wonderful stay!

all staff and Manager front and FYR restaurant is very helpful and friendly we like new building 402 is new 3 months and next to convention center is convenience the room 1970 is perfect see sunrise also breakfast and Lunch at FYR is the best so recommendations dinner top building “stories on hight “. fun to walk skywalk building 401 to 402 is top of north hight street see view love it we have a great time /we will go back thanks Brian’ mgr and all staff your are the best helpful and thoughtful

We loved the location and we loved the rooftop bar. I also really loved seeing Aminah Robinson’s work.

There were thinking noises that sound like rain hitting the roof all night long. It would have been fine had they been in predictable patterns but the cadence was inconsistent. The walls were also pretty thin. We could hear the toilets flush in the room next to us and above us all throughout the night.
